    Been thinking about getting this truss for awhile. The box truss can be a pain sometimes. Now that I've seen how easy you set it up, its a no brainer. Great video!

    It is a great truss system to work with. Very light weight, yet durable. Perfect for the Mobile DJ.

    Well I'm buying this truss to replace the crank system that I brought from ADJ wasn't impressed with the crank that gave up after only using it for one year. The dimension of the pipe is smaller making it harder to attach clamps. Thanks for the post because I run and setup everything myself with help and sometime I don't have help at all.

    Man that is awesome. The video demo was great and that particular truss kit is very nice. 2013? You are ahead of the curve my friend. Thanks for posting. One Love DJ Malarky Out.

    Thanks for the 1 man setup video. I just bought a similar setup, trusst version. I knew there had to be something better than those pins. How do you transport the lighting if you leave them attached to the poles? Mine gets torn up in the trailer when I leave them attached. Maybe you're using a van or pickup with a shell? To those asking about scratching the wood floors. I purchased two 8' black floor mats from the hardware store. They are mostly used to cover long cable runs or when outdoor but I've recently found another use for them :)

    Matt Corzine I no longer keep my lights attatched on the bottom, but I use to hang them from clamps in my trailer. I bought some Chauvet Swarm 5 FX's, and added 2 more Chauvet Shadow UV's. I also uplight this with Chauvet's "EZ Wedge" and recommend those to anyone. They are amazing. I can fit all of my lighting in 1 Ariba bag for transporting them now.

    Is this the "Global Truss DJ Truss Bundle 1" ? With 1.5mm wall thickness?

  • @onstagedjkj

    @onstagedjkj

    10 жыл бұрын

    I believe they are the same truss. I'm not sure what the wall thickness is, but the outer diameter of the tubes are 35mm. This is also known as the "mini truss" system.

    Chris Surdyk Wall thickness is actually the material thickness of the tubes, usually 1,5-3mm on truss. What kind of loading capacity do you think it can take? Would you dare to hang on it with the lights or does that anyway feel too much? I´m about to order 2-3 sets but I wanna know if it can take some serious load or if its just for like 2-4-6 lights.

    Partyakuten Umeå By now you may have already bought this system... but Even with the lights on it, I can hang on it. When I have the full size set up (10'X15'), I climb up the sides if I need to adjust a light within reach from the sides with no issues. Very sturdy.

    I use my monster truss totems when ever they are booked. I don't use the totems as part of my DJ booth itself. I use this global truss system. My monster truss are mainly used for the corner's of the dance floor, or as a decoration placed someplace other then by the DJ booth.
