    Well when they brought it to Australia for WTAC, it was over 25 seconds off pace. That car would have to be completely rebuilt from the ground up to be remotely competitive at WTAC.

    @@ScottGroome it's a basic clubsprint car competing in open though due to a few mods. It's not really built to any ruleset and he's said that from the beginning. The cars barely been shaken down at this point with all he running around the world and failures. Cars take years of refinement to be class leading.

    @@toddxhiggins I fully respect that and I absolutely loved seeing the car at WTAC, but it was slower than street registered clubsprint Yaris's on a track that should really benefit the 800hp or whatever the Ferrari is running. Also Mike can DEFINITELY steer, so it's not what I'd call a skill issue haha.

    everyone is mad telsa is doing good, the fact is combustion design has been lazy in the last decade. direct port hydrogen assisted with laser ignition should already be in cars, and the tech for years. I drive for the soundtrack and the experience of a nice road. telsa's sadly just don't do that for many, but good on them for showing up.

    I'm curious how the performance changes over time because people note the 0-60 on Teslas tends to lengthen as more miles are driven

    I think it would be... interesting... to ship the winners over to WTAC and see where they actually sit as far as time attack cars go. They MIGHT be competitive in the clubsprint class, but I can't see them surviving open or pro. It really is a different world in WTAC.

    Didn't an American just win one of the classes over there. The Ferrari is by no means any representation of what time attack cars are here.

    @@ClaytonYatescarenthusiast Yeah Feras brought his Corvette over and it did really well. It was still 10 seconds off pace, but they put it in the amateur class so it was competing against cars that are a lot slower than the pro and open class cars. The really impressive one from America was the LYFE Motorsport R35 which I believe had less power but was almost 2 seconds faster?

    Watching someone go fast in a tesla is like watching a child put a square into the square hole. Congrats on not picking the triangle hole kid. These guys celebrate like they've only gotten participation awards up to this point in their life lmfao.
