Vic : So the yellow staining on the other set is from the topcoat. I had this happen to me once basically you just take some alcohol 70% and wipe it down. It should come off. 💜✨😄 I like the valentines sets! I like the use of the sparkly polygel and the red !!😌

Catching up on your last couple of videos....this set is gorgeous!!!! The top coats you get in the polygel kits aren't always the best quality and can yellow and get tiny cracks in them after time. One of the biggest culprits of yellowing top coat is foundation makeup. Also things like chlorine or salt water. There are some really good stain resistant top coats you can use. Young Nails Stain Resistant is my favorite because it is more shiny than others I've tried. Just make sure you cure it for two minutes and then wait at least 30 seconds to allow the nails to cool down before wiping off the sticky layer. This will ensure a super shiny finish!

You don't use monomer with polygel. You use a polygel slip solution or isopropyl alcohol. It is only used to keep the brush from sticking to the polygel, which is very sticky. It doesn't "activate" the polygel the way monomer works with acrylic or dip powder.
