The main problem was that Pichu does more damage to itself when throwing basically any of its move which makes the lightest character in the game get killed by just breathing its way lmao. They also made his hitbox bigger and like we know they nerfed his f-tilt.

Wigglytuff Gaming void has said he's going to start playing a lot more sheik. she requires so much work and so much practice, and he hasn't quite had the time for that yet. he switches to pichu when his sheik isn't feeling it. sheik has kill confirms on bowser from 95-190%, that wasn't the problem. don't comment if you don't know what you're talking about

They fucked up sheik badly in this game that's why. 15 hits from sheik = 2 from bowser in terms of damage. On top of that, Sheik can't kill and she's going against the heaviest character in the game.

@@michelrussell2014 Buffer a jump out of up-throw and quickly use a double jump to get high enough. Then Fair, Uair and Nair are your follow-up options. You tend to only get it at low percentages and floaties seem much harder to get this on as well. Aside from that, it's mostly just practice.

This is why I love Ultimate so much. Where else are you gonna see a hype Bowser vs Pichu matchup

How does leon buffer like that, I'm a bowser main and I do not look that smooth

The only thing that puts me off learning sheik is that she's pretty much just joker but with inferior projectiles, kill power and recovery, and I think Void would easy be a top 5 player if he learned to be as good with joker as he is with sheik (I mean just look at him with pichu before) That being said, I still never get tired of watching Void's sheik, the sad truth is that she's just not as good as once she was

I know commentating is hard, but holy cow were they over the top this match

Void really had to work for this. If you outplay you’re opponent for any less than 90% of the match with Pichu against Bowser you lose.

I think Sheik recovery goes high enough to make that more or less impossible.

Void needs a medium weight character at least, since it seems that heavys are not his cup of tea to cover more bad match ups.

I'd feel bad for Pichu players dying so early if they didn't always go for edgeguard kills at literally zero percent

Sheik vs Bowser imo is a great example of a perfectly even, 50/50 matchup. Sheik can throw out lots of quick, non-commital moves that can result in 45% if hit, and Bowser will have problems off stage and in the air. However, one good down smash or flying slam could put Sheik in a catastrophic stock disadvantage, because even if Sheik does two insane combos that both do 50% bringing bowser into the 100s, Bowser's still only about halfway to the end of his stock. Pichu is a better choice.

Who would win: A colossal royal turtle who micromanages an entire kingdom with absolute power. Or A tiny baby mouse In a realness , the rats are bad MU for king bowser. They’re small, agile and fast spiking abilities just hinders a big slow target.

I can understand dropping Pichu because they die too easily, but switching to Sheik, to live a little longer, in exchange for having a much more difficult time killing, doesn't seem worth it at all. :x
