I'm so glad that they didn't make Bow gay, like I feel like he is very stereotypically gay in many ways, he is feminine, emotional, fashionable, obviously had a crush on Seahawk. I think it's really healthy to show men like that in "straight" relatipnships (I know he's probably Bi but you know) Being caring and emotional isn't linked to your sexuality all men can be show healthy masculinity like Bow :)

Honestly glimbow was so much better at portraying the friends to lovers trope than Starco and I'm saying this as someone who used to really ship Starco and never really had an opinion on glimbow until the last season. But having it develope more behind the scenes and having their trust and respect of one another come first was so much better then the will the won't they Starco tried to accomplish.

After the princess prom episode I’m surprised their were four more seasons until they got together. I don’t know why people keep calling Adora the dumb one. Glimmer had a very obvious crush on bow and did not realize it until she thought the world was going to end.

Feel bad for what?

Bow and Glimmer's ride-or-die best friends to annoying cute couple arc over the whole series is very important to me and I love them. They really feel like a healthy pair and still manage to have civil disagreements time to time, they work amazingly as a unit on the battlefield and as people, and the power in their relationship is balanced c: I love how they're willing to protect each other with their lives and also willing to hold back and keep themselves safe for the same reasons. They're open with each other about how they're feeling and when they haven't been they discuss it. Also their little tiny squabbles are the best, you can tell they didn't just flop from one extreme to the other, they're still best friends c: They're good characters ok. Anyways. Bless this video, I love them sm 🙏🏼

They would be amazing parents. Probably the funniest parents too. So wholesome! Their relationship proves to be not toxic and proves to show that even after I fight, they take the time to forgive each other as their bond strengthens.

Honestly in a weird way I’m glad that even though they love and care for each other even before they get together, they fight. They disagree and get upset at each other and don’t always immediately accept the other’s apology and it’s great because this doesn’t happen with a lot of friends on shows, where they agree with each other all the time which isn’t very healthy especially if one is in the wrong. They’re always there for each other but get mad like real people, which makes them that much more lovable and relatable. They were very well fleshed out characters and Novelle did the original show justice.

That forehead kiss was so sweet it almost exploded my heart the first time I saw it 🥰

Favourite couple EVER. I love the way their bond grew stronger during the show, their relationship evoluated a lot. They laughed, they fought, and then they apologised, they forgave each other, they talked about everything AND they were supportive of each other. #RelationshipGoals I had a crush on them

The most adorable couple. Tbh I've always thought they were a couple from the beginning. And it hits really close to home for me because I also liked a long term friend who acted a lot like bow. And we're also both bisexuals. Didn't work for me, but I'm so glad it did for them.

I think it’s completely fair to want to see them kiss!! but I think it was also a deliberate choice from the writers to have them not kiss, since they are a hetero relationship (yes i know theyre bi). I feel like it was more impactful for Stevenson to have the romantic kiss between two lesbians be the Big one and not overshadowed by one between bow and glimmer. Even so, bow and glimmer are still a wonderful, progressive ship themselves and have one of the most realistic and loving relationships Ive seen between a man and a woman in cartoon media!!

One of them being Glimmer and bow have a natural tendency to embrace/hug each for emotional comfort whether when they're scared or letting themselves be vulnerable to each other or just showing general affection. This video points this out really well, hugging/hugging is their love language it seems. It's cute.

I love how the show has developed their relationship since the very beggining instead of suddenly add the romance element at some point to the history just to please the fans. Everything between them happens so naturally to the point that we don’t even need that “I love you” line or some random character pointing out how they look like a couple to notice it. Honestly this is one of the best couples I’ve seen in an animated series.

As a person who has never seen this series I’m probably about to watch it for just them

I have a fun story about Now and Glimmer. At first, I thought they were dating, cause 'duh', but then it sorta downgraded into a "Huh, they're such good friends" for me, so much so that the ending took me by surprise hehe. So you could say that they were one of those "they *could* just be friends, this doesn't have to be a straight thing" (you know, like when someone ships a gay couple, but then someone else comes and uses this 'argument'). Not like I don't like the couple, I am just so damn thick that the subtext didn't register. Fun fact: this was one of the few shows that I didn't have that much ships per say since I got really comfortable with the open displays of affection between friends.

I have seen them only as really good friends and i used to think that they were a forzed couple at the end, but now that i'm watching this i started to realize that, actually, their relationship is really cute and have sense, at least to me

I love how they sound like an old married couple all throughout season three. Constantly arguing but never with any true malice. Meanwhile Catra and Adora’s relationship continues to deteriorate before reaching an all time low.
