Glenwood Motors 3.45 Litre 24v Alfa Romeo 164 LS (Super)

It's GOOD to have this baby back on the road again! (I also converted this car from automatic to manual - and with it - retrofitted a 6-speed manual transmission from a 156 GTA into it! What an AMAZING and effortless car to drive - it feels 500 kilos lighter!!!)
I still have to eliminate the restrictive flapper-crapper (AFM) air-flow meter, or convert it to a MAS-type hot-wire pass-through tube, open up the exhaust from the down-pipes on back and then sort a few other minor things out! For now I am running a UniChip piggy-back computer - also from South Africa - capitalizing on - and then optimizing - the standard cold-start, idle, part-throttle cruising, tip-in and wide-open throttle maps!
The engine was built by Dawie de Villiers of Glenwood Motors-fame down there and features a 100mm bore on a standard 72.4mm-stroke 3.0 crank. We run forged aluminium-alloy pistons & custom sleeves with a 10.5:1 compression-ratio, forged steel chrome molly connecting rods, ported intake and exhaust heads, Stage II cams, 44mm GTA/Q intake runners, GTA injectors, a Remus rear exhaust-section and a grippy 4-puck clutch.
The car also runs fully-adjustable yellow Konis, B&G springs and Eibach anti-roll bars. I have it rolling on 17" Rota wheels with 235/40/17 Goodyear Eagle F1 rubber that won't last long (the car breaks traction in 3rd gear at 70-80 mph!) Brakes are next!
