@ThijsVrolijk Yes. Listen to the record. No mistakes there. Reggie , Hank Snow and Glen played 3 breaks. Some of the best guitar pickin that I've heard in my lifetime.

Absolutely Brilliant.. Such an Amazing talent!! His gorgeous voice... he pours such emotion in his songs,.. how I Love the vocal range he has..And, being a lifelong fan, I truly believe he's the best guitarist in my humble opinion, no disrespect to other musicians.. I realize everyone has their own favoirite musician and opinion. Thank you for this.

Glen was an outstanding singer and a guitar virtuoso. If not the best, then certainly one of them.

The best version of this hit. Glen once again pulls the whole song together and shows his talent between the near seamless use of the 2 guitars. Nice!

This song made Glen Campbell one of the few artists to have at least one top ten hit in three consecutive decades. P. S. Glen turned 54 in 1990, the year this song was released.

Mmm-m-m... Lawd, have mercy, Glen has got his blue jeans on! Nice tush! I love that Glen sings all kinds of music. This is just plain good ol' TRUE country -- my favorite kind. His talent seems to know no bounds.

That's the first time I've ever heard Glen hit a clinker on guitar. But being the pro that he is, he never blinked an eye. (in case you missing it....last two notes of his last solo, half step sharp).

Good God that man was talented. I never quite understood why he changed the lyric in this song such that the line no longer rhymed, but it was still in my opinion the best rendition of the song.

This song was originally about the more that he cried the farther the train moved down the track. I’m pretty sure Glenn was saying that it moved across the sky, but I’ve never seen a train do that.

there's been a link discovered between alcohol(ism) and Alzheimer's. Judging by Glen here I believe his partying over the next 20 years or so had a direct effect/ influence.

This was from 1990, Glen had pretty much stopped with the drinking/drugs by this time, although he had a brief alcohol relapse in early 2000's.
