The iconic Death Metal name of DEICIDE has endured its share of trials and tribulations while earning the respect of a loyal Legion decades ago within their first few releases. The nail-to-the-cross lyrical genius and gut-rumbelling bass and vocals of Glen Benton, along with the phenomenal Sick-Drumming of Steve Asheim have made DEICIDE a force no-one dare challenges, not even "God" himself.
Now upon the release of their 13th album, already considered one of the Best of 2024, 'Banished By Sin' will demonstrate them at their best through over 3 decades of torment.

One of , perhaps the best deicide albums of all time..the great mind of Glenn Benton,once again summoning to the surface from the bottomless pits,he is indeed a true artist,the lyrics are another chapter in his life.. always moving forward into the future...

20:37 I know hes not talking shit on modern metal bands when every picture of Decide is them wearing black T-shirts and pants. They could easily be mistaken for stage crew at a venue. At least with modern bands i can tell whos gonna be playing when they get on stage. He misses frontmen like Ozzy and Ronnie, but a lot of their personalities was communicated by the way they dressed. I'd rather have some variety in metal bands instead of everybody looking exactly the same (i.e all black clothing, beard and long hair)

I’m not a Taylor Swift fan by any stretch but uh, no. Swift a) doesn’t use anymore autotune than anybody else b) clearly doesn’t use it much because her live vocals are right on with the studio recordings and c) she undeniably has more talent than any of these dinosaurs in Deicide so. Deicide doesn’t do anything exciting, it’s pretty run-of-the-mill death metal, which really doesn’t require an insane amount of talent. Shitting on artists you don’t like by claiming they don’t have talent is some high school level shit, man. So unless you’re still in high school, I’d turn it down a notch.
There's a lot of this hipster shit going on with beer and booze these days, these millenials talking shit about the old classics and standards

@@xStabizorz That stuff as well as most black metal, be it the playing or the sound their going for lacks the firepower and crushing heaviness that Deicide has. You have to have a certain counterpoint and dynamic, it can't be all the same mush or on the other hand it can't be just endless tricks.
