Noforyou in my school there are lock downs and in the girls bathroom the door slams and if there was a lock down you have to stay in there and stand on the toilet like what Britney did and it is so scary because you are alone with everyone in there classes that's why I never go alone and I never go because I scared that will happen to me

Last year it happened at my highschool. For bad luck I was at the same situation as Britt. I was talking with my mama on the phone about some stupid exam, I was worried and then I heard the sound of the gunshoot. At first I didin't take it seriously, but when I heard again the same sound, the others student's screams I dropped the phone. I did the first thing that I can: to hide. I was close to the bathrooms for chance (what chance hah). I was waiting for one deadly hour. The only thing that I was hearing were my breath and the breath of that boy who was in the next cabin. Thank god no one get shoot that day.

It's kinda like World War Z, a soldier warns them that the infected respond to loud noises. And he says that while they're riding the loudest bikes on the planet! But rewatching it during film studies, someone pointed the loud squeaks of the bike was the whole point of the scene any possible noise was made give the scene suspense. I think it was same thing here, to heighten the suspension of the situation, I mean if I was in a shooting and it was super quiet like that, I'd probably jump (and maybe unintentionally squeal) at the sound of even a phone buzz

Marley breaking down because she couldn't reach her mother hit me hard because this is entirely what I would be going through in her shoes.

My mom works at my high school. A couple of years ago they’re was a fake threat that everyone thought was real and my old elementary school was shut down and I had a panic attack because I was so scared she and my brother (who also went to the school) were going to die.

Brittany's scene was terrifying. She was all alone in that bathroom.

@Agam Sarmani I think you're the one who needs a dose of honesty here. Sam is stronger than Santana, they'd have an easier time holding her down than they did Sam. And yes Santana would risk her own life but she wouldn't risk the lives of other people by screaming and fighting. Exactly the same reason why Sam stopped. There's no reason to compare the two, they both loved Brittany.

I don't know why you feel the need to compare the two. The ending would 100% be the same. She would have stopped fighting when they held her down because she'd realize that she was putting everyone else as risk. Santana loves Brittany but she isn't selfish enough to let everyone else die just to go find her. And at this time you're forgetting Santana was in love with someone else, she would 100% still care about Brittany a lot but probably not as much as Brittany's actual boyfriend. So really I don't know why you're acting like Santana's love for Brittany is stronger than Sam's. No matter who you end up with or don't end up, that doesn't change the love you had with any partners. Your love for one person wasn't inferior to your love for anyone else just because you broke up. That's not how relationships work. So there's no reason to assume that Santana loved Brittany more than Sam did. You're just coming off as a sapphic fetishizer.

Marlee didn't deserve that kind of pain... I felt terrible for her...

The moment between Kitty and Marley made me bawl my eyes out 😭

Sam and Marley feeling overwhelming grief of someone they love possibly in harms way makes this scene so much more heartwrenching. Well acted

I just watched that episode, and I am right now studying to become a teacher, and I think I will use that scene to show my students on how to react in such a situation, because this whole scene actually shows how to and how we all would feel in such a situation and which decisions we must make (like not looking for someone else, even though we want them to be safe). It is a really touching scene, but it also is a very educational scene, too.

I wouldn't recommend using this scene as an example for students, there are much more informative and realistic depictions than this. This was more designed to play on the emotions of the show's audience, not provide an accurate representation of a school shooting or what to do. Local police offices have videos about gun violence and what to do if you are involved in a shooting.

Yeah but that's exactly what I'm going for. In my country school shooting are very rare. And the kids know all the theory and education behind this, but they can't imagine how it feels like to actually be in a situation like this, so they don't take it that serious, espacially because it is so rare where I come from. Showing them what it actually would be like maybe opens a few eyes regarding this topic.

Its a situation that happens rarely but it does happen. Schools need to do more of Shooting drills cause they are important some kids don't even know about the drill or what to do. We need to protect ourselves and our children. Seeing a care free character like Brittany being terrified I never want to see that again.

It actually happens way way too often. It’s ridiculous that students have to be afraid to go to school. It’s so normalized that we are forced to have as many as 4-5 drills on how to react in this situation because it is so much more likely to happen nowadays.

Kitty was amazing, moving to protect people and comfort them.

This scene is so underrated like you can see how talented these actors are especially Heather Morris and Chord Overstreet

The way they showed that Brittany might not be the smartest character but she was smart enough to know how to hide in this kind of situation by crouching on top of the toilet.... it just added more seriousness to the situation.... Seeing Marley's mom hide alone in the kitchen was so heartbreaking 😭 Knowing youre alone with no place to go... and then making Sam break down into tears concerned for Brittany's safety...everything in this scene was amazingly done...

“Theres no back way out when you’re in the kitchen” Well that just sounds like a fire hazard

Guys, I'd be freaking out too if I was in his situation, worrying about my significant other that was somewhere else in god knows where, but he was with his friends instead of Brittany. He could've potentially put them in more danger had there been someone armed in the building. He was supposed to make sure that they were OK first, considering he was trapped in the choir room with them, not Brit.

Seeing Marly and Marly's mom so scared broke my heart, you can see they love eachother so much and they were scared for their life not knowing from eachother knowing one another was safe.

See the entire school lonely, a abandoned makes me feel so sad. It's seems like the everyday life. This chapter was terryfing and perfect at the same time. The cast great a really great job acting.

the thing with my school is that if we go on lockdown and you are in the bathroom, you need to leave the bathroom quickly and go to the nearest classroom. it happened to me once and we were in a seventh grade classroom in sixth grade

Brittany and Marley and her mother was in my opinion the best acting and the most realistic acting. Imagine hiding in a bathroom stall trying your hardest not to make a sound because your life literally depends on it. Plus when Marley's mother was scared to answer the phone and Marley being scared for her mother.

When I saw Marleys mom I started bawling 😭

There are my favorite Glee episodes and favorite Glee characters - but I must say, this episode makes me cry every damn time - especially Marley and her mom, and Brittany hiding in the stalls. Like seriously, NONSTOP tears every single time I watch it. Phenomenal acting to say the least.
