What have I learned from making this video... a duet with any combo of Lea, Naya and Amber is just the best. I’m doing Male/Female duets next and then... Actually Amber and Lea are the only ones of the cast that recorded Halo/Walking on sunshine (i think so) so it's technically a duet

Mercedes/Santana duets were definitely the best

I didn't think Uniques voice blended that well with anyone, just too overpowering even in numbers like Diva and Wannabe. Maybe it was more a sound engineering problem on the show that season, but Unique voice always seemed too loud to actually be enjoyable. Not the fault of the performer necessarily though, and they got it right in Wide Awake actually.

Not having Idina and Kristin sing a duet since they both guest starred on glee was a missed opportunity. I know they weren’t there at the same time, but I bet they would have been up to do a duet together.

"people have the nerve" to have a different opinion than you. It's just personal tastes. Technically speaking, Lea was Broadway trained and is probably going to be better than Naya in that sense, but anyone can have their own preference in styles of voices.

Possibly Lea is better in her way or on the professional side of singing, but honestly I think she sings better on her own, don't have the feeling, that she really harmonise with many other female voices or always have the tendency to outshine the other voice, which doesn't mean the other girl is less talented, but I always kinda had the feeling (maybe, because it would also fit Rachel's character) she have to be more present/better than her duet partners, especially when female. Naya's voice on the other hand sound maybe more unique, but in my opinion fits better with other voices, especially in songs, that are not to broadway-ish or slow ballades - I also think that Naya/Santana wasn't meant to be the best or outsing/outshine her counterparts in comparison to Lea/Rachel.

Definitely agree - it is one of these I would say a few hands of songs on the show, where it seems like the writers wanted to put Lea (or the character of Rachel) in, even it doesn't fit tho or it wouldn't have been necessary and would have give another actor/character the possibility of another Solo performance...what the didn't had at the end because Lea/Rachel were put in....while already having at least one song she was in in like nearly every single episode. And I kissed a girl is a perfect example for a song that could have been EASILY a Naya/Santana solo or at least IF a duet, then with Heather/Brittany (even I would say, that Heathers voice possibly wouldn't have matched that well, so Santana Solo would have been the best choice I guess).
