I also loved that we were able to see Karofsky's real personality and see him as a lover once he found his freedom to be who he was. He was understanding, heartfelt, kind, invested, and just as considerate as Blaine. even more, he was forgiving. 💝💝💝 I wish they ended his story better at the end of the show, I want such hope for him after who he fought to become.

We can not know if klaine is better since kurtofsky never actually happened. But I'm sure it could have been awesome with a proper devolpement. Not like klaine's development. Also, Klaine is a really toxic realationship. Is far from being the best couple. David bullied Kurt while being "enemies" but then he apologized and became a better man, unlike Blaine who became Kurt's abuser while saying he "loved" him.

Kurt was a class act in this scene.

Imagine if it had been Karofsky and Kurt rather than Blaine and Karofsky. Yes, he had been an awful person, but he did everything he could to redeem himself and we shouldn’t forget that aspect. Karofsky is a complicated character which I wish Glee didn’t forget a few times in favor of Rachel, who is my favorite character but even I know she got too much attention. Karofsky and Kurt’s relationship could’ve been something really sweet. A gentleman Karofsky who holds the door open for Kurt and buys him sickeningly sweet gifts and just doing what he believes Kurt deserves. And, as for Kurt, just imagine him trying to enjoy things Karofsky enjoys like watching Monday night football or other masculine things Karofsky probably still enjoys even after coming out(I always liked that Karofsky was a gay who didn’t chase after the stereotypes and was, instead, still himself just into guys).

I remember my college boyfriend just lost it laughing when Karofsky said “the butterscotch are my favorite 🥺” and it made me so mad. We broke up years ago but now the memory makes me chuckle...remembering him hee-hawing over that line. On another note, great story arc for GLEE.

I felt sorry for Karofsky during this scene for some reason

YEEEES I think that too! David did an effort to change after realizing what an animal he was and I believe he would have loved Kurt so much. I don't think Klaine was such a healthy couple and...I don't know, maybe Kurt & Karofsky would have given a better message? Like, you can be ignorant, hate yourself and treat others badly, but you can change your views and later be happy.

thechocolatebae To be honest, I don't disagree with you, but I kind of wished that Karofsky could have been there to comfort Kurt through his heartache when he and Blaine were apart in season 6, but I totally agree that they should have invented a new character for Blaine to date because despite Kurt blowing off their relationship, Blaine dating Karofsky and Karofsky dating Blaine was a bit too far I mean to me it seemed like they were both trying to get back at Kurt.

My favorite scene of the whole series. Even if it's sad that Kurt has to let him down gently, it was just great to see Dave being so earnest, especially compared to how he behaved earlier in the series.

When I was in high school, some bullies would try to beat me up and call me queer as I didn't fight back. Many years later, they are the ones who turned out to asking me out and one did actually try to kiss me. (There wasn't one that I would go out with as they were all toads) Throughout the years I learned that bullies are just cowards and many who "pretend" to beat you up are just covering themselves so they can put their arms around you. Yes, I was the blonde curly haired guy who was different in school. I also learned much too late that if you knock the crap out of them just one time, they will never bother you again as they are just sissies in disguise and are actually afraid of being hit!! Watching Glee sometimes brings back memories from when I was in high school and don't want to relive those incidents ever again.

I wish that if this scene was a little longer at the end after Dave left that Kurt should have confronted that guy at his new school; Nick and said to him: Kurt: Look, I don't know you, and I don't know what you think you just saw, but Dave's a really good guy, and he probably hasn't talked a lot about me, but I'm probably the only friend he's got left from his old school, and I'm asking you to back off and leave him alone, all right? Nick: Have no idea what you're talking about, and what's it matter what I saw? Kurt: I know what kind of guy you are. I've seen people just like you before: you're only scared of what you don't understand, well you should think about that and what other people are feeling before you do something that you'll regret one day. Nick gives him a mocking look. Kurt: I'm just doing what you should be doing. Looking out for a friend.

Why? Karofsky literally sexually harrassed and assaulted Kurt. He terrified him for years and made him transfer schools. Kurt had to transfer because he was terrified of Karofsky, since he threatened Kurt's life. Don't you think it's kind of disgusting? After so many years of tormenting, you want his bully to be with him? David most definitely changed but what he did to Kurt was very painful and hard for him.

@@eduardochavacano It is definitely not more realistic for Kurt to date the person who made his life terrible for a long time. Kurt forgiving karofsky was nice, but after all that happened I seriously doubt he could love him. He made Kurt absolutely miserable, Blaine was the one who helped get Kurt out of that situation. It makes way more sense that Kurt would be with the person who helped him through hard times and was extremely nice to him, than the person who hurt him and made his life suck.

I "love" Dave, but I'm still surprised that Kurt waited for him to take off the outfit and talk it out.

I wish Kurt and David dated 😭

Karofsky story line was pure TV gold !!! 🤩. I was so invested !!! Especially when Karofsky started being honest about him being gay. This is real life what gay teens go through

honestly I'm glad Karofsky had his chance with Blaine. Blaine is such an emotionally invested lover, and so sincere and present, it gave Karofsky the chance to hope for a healthy real relationship, to feel in Blaine what rescued Kurt. Blaine was the ointment, the antidote of pain. Karofsky needed to feel that, and to experience that depth, even briefly. But still feel that it's possible. Kurt is a whole other personality type that still wasn't open to Karofsky having been estranged and disconnected from prolonged bullying. Kurt can forgive Karofsky sincerely but still have that distance towards Karofsky engrained unfortunately. I wish Kurt had handled Karofsky with a lot more care and availability for him before he tried to take his life, especially since Kurt and Blaine are both so perceptive about picking up signs in others. He probably would've helped him gain strength so much more to help Dave deal better when he got outted. On one hand, I don't blame Kurt, but the other more importantly, he missed out on doing a lot of good for a fellow teen struggling with his identity in a manner Kurt lives in. lesson learned: forgive, be available, and initiate talks the other can't start and wish they can.

Don't get me wrong I do love the Kurt-Karofsky friendship and potential relationship they could have had, but part of me also wonders if Karofsky was only in love with the idea of him and Kurt - I mean, if it hadn't been for Kurt, Karofsky wouldn't have been able to be open and come out about who he was like Kurt and I wonder if he might have believed that going out with Kurt would have been good for him and maybe would have kept him safe from some of the bullying because Kurt was not afraid of who he was and what other people thought of him unlike how he felt, but again, Kurt helped him through all of that which is why I couldn't have been more hopeful that something good was coming for them in the future.

Sugar bear if Blaine wasn’t in the picture and karofsky was, I would have been fine with a storyline featuring a romance between Karofsky and Kurt which is in the lines of Shameless imo. It would have made a message that people can change for the better similar to Karofsky’s arc in season 3. I’m glad they are still on good terms though. I would change season 6 though and have Karofsky with Kurt or have his boyfriend be a new character

kenanthoughts I liked how karofsky developed as a person. Obviously I hated what he did to Kurt in seasons 1 and 2 before the kiss and the apology. He went from a bullying jock with a lot of insecurity and pain inside him to a man with integrity, compassion and the fact he accepted who he is. I was sickened by the way Karofsky was treated by his new school too and I’m fortunate to see that he stuck around and was saved by his dad in time. It reminded me of the hell kurt went through.

After everything Blaine put him through after his transfer how could he keep sticking by him and allowing himself to keep getting hurt or neglected? Karofsky was his out but he stayed with a guy who couldn’t be bothered to actually romance him or take care of him.
