@@queenoffabulous2156 it’s still not quite as impressive for it to be that fast as a studio recording, I’m sure we all noticed that the official recordings for Hamilton are noticeably faster than the live performances. I’m sure it was just as hard as all the other live performances of this song, but the fact that it is faster is not as impressive because it’s not live. Plus, the timbre of her voice does not match with her actions during the scene, the head voice she sings with would not be coming out clean AT ALL if she was actually doing a live performance (especially if she was running out of a church). I agree that her performance is fine but I don’t think it’s under appreciated. It’s appreciated just the right amount. It’s also not her fault that it sounds so processed. Everything on glee sounds like that

It's a little faster in the original but still much faster than most performances. The thing is the slower you sing the words, the longer you have before you can breathe. So any performance of this song is fantastic.

I'd say it's more that it's black comedy.
