I like that this storyline gave jesse a happy ending. he was the star of vocal adrenaline when he first came in, but it all went to shit from there. he failed to get into NYADA, then flunked out of the college he did get accepted into. he tried to help the new directions win nationals, and they lost. then he then coached vocal adrenaline, who lost at nationals to a team who came 12th the previous year, and it's clear at this point he's still not over rachel. I always wished they'd give him a damn break, so I was glad when he and rachel got married

They didn't really need it though. It's kind of like he said in this episode. The two of them always had a special connection and with Finn gone and their lives moving in the same direction it was kind of bound to happen. They already had a foundation established. I mean, yes season one St. Berry was a mess but he came back for her in season two. In season three he praised her to the Nyada recruiter even though he knew she was marrying someone else and he had nothing to gain from doing so.

She was going to end up with Sam but the director of the TV channel didn't like the ending so they waited unti Jonathan had a space while filming his series, for made again this role of Jesse and they ended together because of that. If you saw with determination this chapter you'll see that the clothes of her are different in this part. It's because it was re-recorded again.

This is one of my favourite songs and I’m so glad that Jonathan and Lea sing it together. I love the way they smile at each other as they’re singing and their voices blend beautifully! This song shows how perfect Jesse and Rachel are together.

The reason I got into Glee was because of Lea Michele, who I had watched with Jonathan Groff in Spring Awakening. Needless to say when Jesse came on, I was Team Jesse all the way even though I accepted that Finnchel was destined to be end game. Cory's death was tragic and shocking, and The Quarterback had me sobbing. But Jesse isn't just the next best thing. Realistically, if Finn had lived to be with Rachel, I don't think they would have lived happily ever after. The scenario the producers described of Rachel coming back to Lima and to Finn is sweet, but I don't think Rachel would have been satisfied with that in a few years. Jesse and Rachel have similar life goals but different enough personalities to push each other.

I loved them together. They were the only ones who got each other completely. And besides, to end the series with Lea married to Jonathan, her real life bff, was probably a really good thing for Lea. Lea and Jon love each other. He may be gay but their love is so special.

Whenever these two perform together it's magical. From hello and how you could feel the new emotions and rolling in the deep was angsty and this is more happy but they still manage to bring out such emotion. they are so equally matched vocally

I just LOVE this performance. This is one of my favs (stupid words : I say that each time but still). This moment is beautiful. I love how Jesse comes up the same way he did during Rolling In The Deep. And just look at these cuties ! Their smile are so cute. I was in aww all the time. And I agree, Jesse Saint James is a good second choice for Rachel. They were kind of cute in season one and I love how he supported her in Nationals from season 3. I was team Finchel until the end but, with what happened, I'm really glad Rachel ended up with him. And, fictionnaly speaking, their future children will be amazing performers ! And very bossy and selfish (I say that with love). I hope they're will be best friends with Kurt & Blaine's childen to bring some balance. ^^

Ryan Murphy said that it was suppose to be the real ending of the series. This was suppose to be the last scene, ever. But since they couldnt, they just made Rachel talk about it instead. D=

I didn't really like Jesse and Rachel as a couple but Jon Groff and Lea Michelle are pure magic everytime they sing together. I could listen to them sing together all day long.

Totally agree. It still breaks my heart when I think about Lea having lost Cory, and that his life was cut so short, and it's also very sad that Glee couldn't get the ending it was always supposed to have, with Rachel and Finn. However, I think Rachel ending up with Jesse was a wonderful thing to do and I do like them as a couple. But I adore Lea and Jon's friendship even more and whenever they sing and perform together, something just happens. It's like magic, like you said. They may not be IN love, but their chemistry and how much they love each other truly shine through as soon as they're together, even in pictures. They're amazing together.

They are great together! Jesse always comes when Rachel sings and needs him. :D :)

I love how Jonathan was always there for Lea when Cory passed he took her on a vacation for a month

I love that they both challenge each other vocally and when they do the result is absolute magic😍😍

I love this scene, because you can see the happiness and love in both of their eyes, even after so many years. When they are standing so close it looks like he's finally where he wants to be

Rachel always picked Finn over Jessie so many time yet he still stayed around and always cared about her, yes he egged her but you could see in his face in that moment he didn't want to do it. But over all he stood up for her and cared about her when Finn was being stupid. Rachel hurt Jessie more times he hurt her so I'm glad he won out in the end even though it should have been Finn but there was nothing anyone could do about that

i always loved when they sang together....makes me so happy😊

Listen, Rachel and Jesse together was always POWERFUL. Jonathan and Lea are INSANE.

Finally got around to watching glee. Jesse has been my favorite vocalist on the entire show. I was in the next room when this came on. I'd all but forgotten the character but in about 3 notes I screamed at my husband "pause it! That's Jesse!"

i love that after time passes, i notice the view count climb and people constantly post comments about this song/couple and I love it! St. Berry forever

God...this is the song that I was waiting for for 6 years. And then, right before the ending I got it!!! And my two favs sang it, so double happiness :D I miss Glee, but this show will always be in my heart!

Imagine the mind blowing performance these two must have gave on their wedding day or when Jesse proposed

There was probably a giant, legendary Vocal Adrenaline-New Directions number.

I remember screaming when Jesse appeared! 🤩 This was one of the most pleasant surprises of that season. She was single and he did not appear to be with anyone so it made for a fantastic endgame reunion. Plus the song and the way he looked at her! *swoon*
