well she was brought on to the show originally as just a dancer to help with the single ladies dance but she was so good that they created a part for her

Actually she was originally the choreographer! But they found out she could sing and wanted a cheerleader #2 for Quinn so Brittany was in!

She was such a good dancer that she was usually placed in back of or at the side of the ensemble so that she would not pull audience attention away from the lead actors.

The fact that they were such a good friends and they had so much connection it makes me sick that Heather has to keep going on with her life without Naya! Things like this makes me hate how unfair life gets sometimes.

I love how Heather got more comfortable singing solo in later seasons

Naya/Santana is the most unforgettable character in the show. Its already been a few years seens the last season aired and when I talked it with someone who also like glee and ask me who is my favorite character in the show, I would always say its "Santana". She so inspirational that everytime im inspired i would always watch her old performances in the show. Even though she's gone she will be always be alive in my heart and mind. Thank you for all the wonderful and amazing performances you left behind. Thats how we do it, LIMA HEIGHTS ADJACENT!!!

Heather and Naya were soulmates on and off screen.

I will forever be grateful for this song (not only the joy of the song being impossibly contagious and the dance number amazing!) but it also gave us a pop culture gift of this famous song 'gayed up- in its lyrics and video. Two girls singing their love to each other. The significance for lesbian/bi women all around the world back then and even now to have this sort of music was just... I can't put it in words. Thank you forever, Naya. Thank you Heather for this too and for taking care of your friend till the end 😭😭😭😢😢

If I remember correctly, this is one of the very few times Heather Morris got to take the lead and sing the majority of the song later on in the series. There was an episode she also did Brittney Spears a lot by herself. But obviously being hired as a dancer when she did sing lead, they had the most complicated choreographics the show ever had. This was a perfect example of her exemplary talent as a dancer. She successfully transition to acting after this show as she had been in a fair number of movies after Glee ended, usually as a secondary character.

I love how proud Santana looked watching Brittany sing and dance she will forever be missed Rest In Peace Naya

@@james_bane she went one a boat trip with her 4 year old son on a lake. The boy was found alone on the boat, but Naya was nowhere to be found. Probably and accidental drowning :(
