Absolutely wonderful. I enjoyed it a lot and learnt from you . It has come timely as I am about to start a lion painting. Many thanks for sharing. This was inspiring.

For a more transparent White you could use Flake White which does the job quite well. I often use Winsor & Newton's flake white on my portraits and it gives a nice translucent tone on the skins.
