Mary, you can glue the clay pieces onto your project as soon as you mold them. The clay does not have to be dry. I use Titebond quick and thick to glue it on and you can also paint them immediately after you apply them. You just have to be careful not to distort your clay. Just an FYI.

Also a little cornstarch helps the mould release.
my dear Mary. Your videos NEVER disappoint. I just love watching you create beautiful pieces on a dime. Love your channel ♥
Girl! What you get done in a day puts the rest of us to shame! Beautiful job.
I just love your little "fishing cabinet." I think the fish paper is fitting and I'd love to see your Dad's reaction.😊❤
Well you’ve done it again! Totally remade a piece into a treasure…love it! ❤
The transformation is amazing. Great work as always Mary.
Love the cabinet! The wallpaper is great! Great job! Thank you Mary!
Great job Mary! Love how you hung on to this piece for so long. Bet you are glad that you did.
It's always so much fun watching you remake a piece of furniture! You are so talented. Thank you for sharing!
gorgeous transformation Mary, made even more special the fact that your Dad made it! By the way I love the blue fish too thank you for sharing this beautiful project!!!
Mary, your visions for things is remarkable!!!
Mary, you never fail to amaze us. Perfectly beautiful ❤️
Just found your channel! Enjoying all the years you’ve posted and looking forward to many, many more. ❤
I didn’t even realize the outside material so this piece was bead board. The glaze really enhances the look. Great job.
Mary, I enjoy your channel and meaningful creativity! The fish paper in that cabinet was perfect!
This fishing cabinet turned out beautiful. Again, another great project 🐟 I like the stories that you tell with some of your projects. Thank you...
Hi Mary! I love that you redo things that you already have. It is so nice to remake something with memories. I think that it came out so cute. I love functional beauty in a piece of storage furniture!
You did a wonderful job . Why do we always second guess ourselves ❤️❤️
You amaze me every time I watch your project videos!! What can’t you do girl 👍🏻
Your touch is skilled and talented! I remain amazed at how you are able to transform something without much obvious worth, into an heirloom piece! Each of your videos speaks to my heart!
Cute! It's screaming for a beautiful potted vine on top. 😊
That cabinet would go so good in a lake or beach cottage and leave the door open to see the fish!
Mary, you are the most talented women. I love your enthusiasm and inspiration. Thanks!
I love the little cabinet especially with that little roof! Just perfect!
The cabinet turned out very cute. I agree that a vintage paper or decoupage would look great, knowing the history, but the fish are cute.
I love that you added bead board to the cabinet! The gel really added to the visual texture of it!
Amazing. Love how you always make things so pretty and you stay so neat and clean....lol
Hello Mary, thank you for this wonderful fun video. Ohhh just to have some of your blessed talent. You can take anything and make it into something fantastic that looks beautiful wow. Loved the cabinet when you finished with it. And what a special piece one that your dad made and the memories oh my so so special a piece to treasure and cherish 😍 thank you sweet Mary for the wonderful videos you are so inspiring to me ❤ God's blessings 😊❤
I am your newest #1 fan, & I LOVE that you were Amish. I Love the Amish.
I think you did a beautiful job on this cabinet. I like the top piece too. Thank you for sharing your adventure with us. ❤😊❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I just love the way you reuse what you have.
So lovely seeing the end product, the cabinet looks beautiful. Nice to see a bit of sunshine here in London it’s been raining non stop 🌧️🌧️🌧️
Mary the cabinet turned out so great! I love the header you chose. If you found a fishing themed fabric you liked it could be glued in? The glazed really made the wood pop! And your new products are beautiful.
The cabinet is lovely Mary and it’s very sweet with the fish to remind you that your Dad made it ❤️
oh Marry I love the your Dads fishing cabinet makeover🥰
The cabinet is so cute! It would also look great in a coastal style room. I can see it in a beach cottage with a pair of oars leaning against it and a starfish cutout on the front.
I'm going to be glazing some furniture for the first time in the next few days. This was exactly what I needed to see! 😊
It’s not a flop Mary, well done again
Love the idea that you repurpose a piece that's been repurposed before and treasure it because of the memories. Must confess I had to ask Google what a 'jelly cupboard' was... not a term we hear in Aus. 😊
Mary I love what you did with your much loved cabinet. It looks lovely where you have it.
What sweet memories of the cabinet! ❤
Love the cabinet !!! You always teach me something! Espetacular!!!!!!
You can starch or glue fabric to the backs, so many different fabrics to choose from, instead of wallpaper. Love watching your projects
Wow Mary, once again you have done a fabulous job. Love these types of videos.
I had my doubts, but, as usual, you came though with flying colors! 🎉
You have such a good eye for turning things into something amazing 👍
Mary you do such good work. I am so enpressed with everything you do. It look great.
Love the history of your cabinet, turned out great!
Hi Mary, such a beautiful job but if you don’t mind could you smear some paint on your face and arms just to make me feel better…lol 😅❤ ❤
Love the beautiful character of this piece! Great selections on hardware, clay medallions and wallpaper. If I don’t have glaze I have washed wood with any paint that I dilute. One part paint to 4-5 parts water. It goes on and wipes off easily and is nice and frugal. Love your eye and design instincts. Many thanks Mary!
Mary I believe your Dad would be proud of what you did to that cabinet. It looks so good.
I love this cabinet, and the memories, you chose the hinges that I liked x x
I really love your cabinet such wonderful memories.
Loved it Mary! The top of the cabinet was great!
Turned out really cute Mary!!!👍💕😊
I think the cabinet is adorable!!
Inspiring as always, Mary! Thank you!
Love the way your cabinet turn out!
Mary, What a cool way to spruce up an old cabinet. It looks great in your living room. Ann from Va.
I love this cabinet and how you’ve remade it. It’s terrific.
you always do such neat DIY's so neat they look like you bought the piece in a store like that, sometimes a DIY LOOKS like a DIY, you know what I mean? yours never do.
The top looks great! I'm glad you kept going with it. No flops here!
Your such a hard worker, very skilled.
So beautiful! Love it Mary! Can't wait for that video!💜
This turned out lovely ❤ And I do like the added top!
Love the Cabinet! Again you did a great job.
The 'topper' on the cabinet really makes it look special. I ❤ the decorative moulding pieces. So sweet of you to redo the fishing cabinet in memory of your father! 👍
It’s lovely!! It reminds me of the beach huts on the British beaches actually! So pretty 😊 Annette x
Beautiful! And it doesn’t look like an outhouse or barn. 😜
Mary, as always, you continue to absolutely amaze me! The cabinet looks wonderful!❤️❤️
Mary, I absolutely love cabinets that have the charm this one does! The bead board, that sweet latch, the color…it is perfect…well done! Then add the memory with it…a TREASURE ! My home is filled with dresser my dad built, well actually he made the whole house over and I am blessed to own it now. It is hard to let things go when they get really bad from use. You are fortunate to still have your Dad, so my items I try to hang onto because I feel like I’m letting yet another piece of him go…I know that silly..but I loved my Dad so much. I’m with you on how fast this month has gone. We have been so focused on July 7 and the Wedding…now that that has past and the month is flying by! God bless !
Cabinet came out lovely!!!
Very nice, Mary. I love the fish wallpaper :-D
Ohhhhhh I love that old cabinet, the top looks awesome. My favorit piece I have was a little cupboard that hung in my Grampas barn which help cow meds and teat cream etc. I can’t bring myself to paint it but did paint the 8n side and wallpaper it. Like your cupboard, it’s a family treasure. 🇨🇦🌷
Looks cute! A tip for the molds. Once you put it in the mold, put it in the freezer for 15 minutes. That makes it super easy to release it and it just takes a few minutes for it to thaw.
I think it looks great, Mary. Not a barn at all!
Man, that cabinet has traveled more than me! LOL😆 As always, you add a little paint, a little creativity, and some scrap wood and voila! You have a beautiful piece of furniture. Love your sweet memories that the cabinet has. Can’t wait to see your new furniture! Great job!
Love that, you are absolutely so creative and talented
Mary if you dust your molds with corn starch they will come out quite easily. Great job!!!
Fantastic, love the roof top so much!
Just so cute, loved the size of the cabinet.
The cabinet looks great ! Great video 😊
As always you inspire!! The cabinet looks great!!
I love that you re did your dads cabinet and will enjoy it for many years to come.
Lovely transformation.
Mary, that “fishing” cabinet is so clever , thanks so much for sharing!!!
I really love it💞, greetings from Wiesbaden, Germany, Andrea
Looks great! If you dust your mould with corn starch they will come out much easier.
Wonderful job...as usual ❤😊😍😘 from the Dolomites in Italy 🦌🌲🌷
Thank you Mary for sharing your time. It looks great 👍 have a blessed day
How charming! I love the hardware.
It’s really nice! I’m always impressed with your woodworking skills. I dabble in woodworking projects but I think I lack your patience, lol.
You are amazing. Cabinet looks great
Super cute makeover. Thanks for sharing.
🥦🟦 Mary... you make my ❤ smile.
Mary, that cabinet came out beautiful. What wonderful memories to have. It's amazing what paint can do. The addition to the top with the molds looks so pretty.
