I never bought Gesso... I use this recipe and it works on my bottles. Make Your Own Gesso Recipes 1/4 cup taclum powder.... (Baby power) 1 tablespoon white glue. 1 tablespoon white paint. water to desired consistency. (HINT: I never followed this recipe exactly, I just make it until it's thick enough to add onto the bottle) Another fantastic video... I also started making bottle art after watching your videos.

@@aasp80 It helps when your using glue for the epoxy clay to stick. Also gives it an illusion of a clay bottle but it's actually glass.

How do you get gesso to stick to the glass? I tried it and it came right off after 24 hours. When that didn't work I used a spray primer and that isn't working either. I cleaned the glass bottle and rubbed it with acetone before and let it dry before trying each of these.
