Glasgow Airport, also known as Glasgow International Airport (IATA: GLA, ICAO: EGPF), formerly Abbotsinch Airport, is an international airport in Scotland. It is located in Paisley, Renfrewshire, 8.6 nautical miles (15.9 km; 9.9 mi) west of Glasgow city centre. In 2019, the airport handled 8.84 million passengers, an 8.4% annual decrease, making it the second-busiest in Scotland, after Edinburgh Airport, and the ninth-busiest airport in the United Kingdom.
The airport is owned and operated by AGS Airports which also owns and operates Aberdeen and Southampton airports. It was previously owned and operated by Heathrow Airport Holdings (formerly known as BAA). The airport's largest tenants are easyJet and Loganair. Other major airlines using Glasgow as a base include Jet2.com and TUI Airways.
Glasgow Airport was opened in 1966 and originally flights only operated to other places in the United Kingdom and Europe. Glasgow Airport began to offer flights to other places around the world, flights which previously used Glasgow Prestwick Airport, which was subsequently relegated as the city's secondary airport catering for Ryanair and freight operators.

What Kind of Parking Do You Need?
Long Stay Parking:
Long Stay parking is a great value for money option typically utilised for longer durations. Our courtesy electric bus runs every 10-15 minutes and will take you to the airport terminal in under five minutes. Find out more about Long Stay parking

Fast Track Parking:
Fast Track parking is found on floor 2 of car park 2, and has a dedicated covered walkway straight to security. Fast Track parking includes priority security passes, so it’s the quickest way to get to your gate. Maximum 5 priority security entries per car. Find out more about Fast Track parking

Glasgow Airport Pick Up & Drop off options
Express Pick Up & Drop Off
Glasgow Airport's Pick up & Drop-off areas are located directly outside the main terminal building in car park 2. So, you can pull up right outside, where you can touch down just long enough to unload luggage. An easy and quick option. This can be a very congested area and is only suited for a conveniently close and quick pick up or drop off.
Pick Up & Drop Off will be charged at £4 to stay for up to 10 minutes from 00:01 on Friday 4th December 2020. Drivers wishing to use parking facilities for more than 10 minutes are advised to use the Short Stay car park.
Passengers with electric vehicles will be able to access the pick-up and drop-off facility directly opposite the terminal free of charge for the first 10 minutes. Electric vehicle users must pre-register for free access for the first 10 minutes here.
If drivers choose to stay in the Express Drop-off for longer than 10 minutes, they will pay a premium charge on exit.

Just to clarify, at Glasgow Airport, Car Park 1 is the long-stay car park, while Car Park 2 is the short-stay car park that offers meet and greet services. Meet and greet services are usually not free, but they can be convenient if you're in a hurry or carrying heavy luggage. You can check the Glasgow Airport website for current prices and availability, and they also have a helpful FAQ section that can answer any other questions you may have. I hope this helps!
At 9:30 you can see at the right (and outside the airport) a Europcar office with parked cars. Do you know if you can drop off their rentals there? And there's also an antrance to the airport. Would it be possible to enter from that one instead of all the way you did? Thanks
