GLAMPING at Whitemead Forest Park!
Come Glamping with us and join the Loveys on our mini staycation in the Paw-rest!
So. We've always wanted to go camping but never been brave enough to do it and plus, we don't have the right equipment to do so. We would need to buy a Tent, Sleeping Bags etc which would accumulate cost (which we're trying to avoid). So instead we decided to do a Glammed up Camping (Glamping) and stay at a POD like you'll see in the video. The PODs are big enough for four people, it has a double bed and a sofa bed.
Whitemead Forest Park is based near Gloucestershire. The site on itself is spacious and offers quite a lot of greenery to chill in. They have an on-site pool (which was unfortunately closed due to Covid), Archery Range, Football pitch and Basketball court. Most importantly however, they are surrounded with walking trails. Absolutely loads! There are a few that you can walk to and start the trail or a short drive to various more walking trails.
One thing we would point out is to research and make a list of where you want to go before coming here. Phone reception is difficult to find, impossible at most times. They do have wifi at the main building so that's an option.
