I think you're confusing glamorous with tacky. Or more likely, you don't know the difference.

I think that's a bit harsh, it may be because of our culture today that the two are confused. But I was thinking of the 2000s, the glam style icons back then were Kate Moss(!!) and maybe Sienna Miller, Britney and Paris were always seen as tacky, but people found it funny.
