Okay hello people reading the comments! Yes, Gjon forgot lyrics. You can't deny that, but all people make mistakes. Let it be clear that Gjon did NOT grow up in Albania, he only learnt the language with the help of his mother. So he did NOT learn this song in school like in Albania, instead, he went to school in Switzerland and grew up mostly with the French language. With this, I want to say Gjon also forgets or messes up the lyrics of other songs, even his own. Even of songs that he sings/sung very often (like Répondez-moi and Tout l'univers). Gjon tried to sing this song and I think it's a very good gesture, especially when you know his mother tongue is French and he grew up in Switzerland. Last thing I want to say is that he just came back from Art On Ice, this was very intense (5 shows in 3 days) and he was occupied by this. So he didn't have that much time to prepare this.

I read the comments below and I‘m shocked about the hate speech in some of them! A wonderful singer forgot part of the text of this wonderful, important song, is this a crime? Does this mean a lack of respect? Does this mean he deserves cruel words like that? No! We all have our weak moments, this is nothing but human, and after the song he even tried to explain himself to the audience. I also read wrong facts here. Gjon‘s Tears was born and grew up in Switzerland with parents from Albania and Kosovo. His first language is French, he also speaks English, it was only later when he participated in Albanian TV casting shows that he started to learn Albanian, and he hasn‘t the opportunity to speak it often. And one last thing: Gjon‘s Tears always says that he sees himself as a European, he always defends multiculturalism and tries to build bridges wherever he can, so please, let‘s not build walls where bridges are needed ❤🙏🏼💚

I just watched this video today for the first time and I agree with the comments supporting Gjon. I can understand that this song has a deep meaning for the Kosovar and Albanian people, but he's human after all, we all screw up at work at least once in our lives and we can still be competent at work, so that works for Gjon too. I may not know him personally, but I don't think he has underestimated the importance of this event and this song; he always keeps his roots in mind by showing them through his own music or when he sings Albanian folk songs, although he considers himself a European citizen, as he was born and grew up in Switzerland ✌💙

This section needs to be clean. Start with some fact: Did he fuck up? Yeah, even if he didn't want to. It his mistake and I am 100% sure, that he was sorry for that. This mistake didn't change, that he's great singer and he still supports Kosovo. Just one reminder: Albanian is difficult language (like languages are) and when you don't use this language much, you can just forget something. I think he learned that song, but bad luck sometimes happened 🤷🏼‍♀️ (that's the view of me as a Tearslover, so if you think something different, it's okay💙💜)

He is not from Kosovo or Albania, he is from Switzerland. He cannot know all the songs. The best thing to do next time is to sing yourself after you've even gotten there the day before. Und auch gerne an dieser Stelle nochmal auf Deutsch, da du ja auch gern in zwei Sprachen sprichst: Gjon ist Schweizer, seine Eltern sind aus Kosovo und Albanien. Er ist einen Abend vor der Sendung angereist und hatte keine Chance zu proben. Stell du dich mal hin und singe sowas live. Seine Stimme ist göttlich, das weiß jeder, der sich ein wenig mit ihm beschäftigt.
