    Decent way to clean your brake caliper is to use wet and dry sand paper and then it will bring the paint back to colour and just spray with a clear coat keep up the good work with your videos

    When doing plugs you should have taken the ratchet off and just used fingers with extension bar to tighten up then re-attach the ratchet. Going straight in using the ratchet doesnt give an indication of cross threading. Just words of advice that's all

    Just changed my plugs tonight, and the ones that came out were gapped all over the bloody place! It was running lumpy, and wondered if it was the plugs. New plugs in and all gapped the same, runs sweet as now👌🏼

    You said your car is tuned stage 3 right? shouldn't you gap your spark plug to a certain gap for a stage 3 performance? or, use cooler spark plugs as recommended for stage 3.

    Thank you for your video ! Yea that oil filter is a bitch, those hoses get in the way.. I haven't done my plugs yet but you gotta make sure the plug doesnt fall in or it could close up your spark plug gap setting.. New plugs for me here in Australia cost $35 AUD each... FFS lol my old ford escort (back in the day) they only cost about $5 each..

    My advice is to always use the oil the manufacturer says is correct... and that is Tommy, sad to say 5w30... Using a 40 in England your engine oil will never reach the temperatures to allow the oil to be at it's best for your car once hot. If you constantly change your oil every 7500 Kilometres then you will probably still be OK because at least you will keep it fresh. My ST in Australia gets nothing but 5w30... and our temps are far hotter in summer than yours. Unless you have built your now bottom end with your own specific bearing clearances, then you should have used 5w30. My advice, next oil change, go to something like Mobil1 5w30... bottom line, make it 5w30, brand is not that important.

    iv actually thought this when looking at the service kit from aet, 5w40 isnt the right grade as far as im aware after alot of research

  • @vicntez

    @vicntez

    6 жыл бұрын

    Some of these ST engines have a strange knock with the 5w20 oil especially when the engine gets hot, rev it slghtly and the noise goes away, Ford specified 5w30 in the earlier cars then changed it to 5w20, reason being in my opinion for emissions and to screw an extra couple of mpg out of the engine, my euro 6 engined ST went into Ford because of this knocking noise and was passed fit by Ford they told some users to use the same oil as the Focus RS, Castrol edge Titanium 0w40 I have changed to this and never had the problem since, to me the 5w20 is to thin and can't cope when hot.

    @@Nyle95 correct most cars brake fluid is changed every 2 years and gear box oil is mileage depending on most cars , if you go to most garages for a full service you will get oil and filter air filter and most include pollen filter, fuel filters and spark plugs are advised and extra if you look on auto data they will tell you what mileage and year you should change them and you then advise and sell it to the customer
