As a big X-Men fan, it's really weird seeing the Wolverine figure turned into a mashup of his blue and yellow and brown and yellow costumes. He's never worn a brown, blue, and yellow costume. Other than that, all the figures look great.

The shoulder pads too. They should be printed on the arm pieces and it looks better without the shoulder piece. Though he does have a brown, blue and yellow costume, quite often actually. Funnily enough, the brown piece is the belt. The one piece instantly discarded in the video. That being said, it looks weird regardless. Lego should give him more love next round.

The original Ant-Man helmet back in 2015 is technically his comic book one as both Hank and Scott did have an open mouth section in the comics and Lego worked with concept art for the movie back then, so presumably the helmet looked a bit different before they settled with the one in the actual film.

If I remember correctly, a fair amount of the merch released for the first ant man had the wrong style helmet. It's something that really makes me wonder how late into production the helmet changed.

@@RebelTrooper543 I honestly don't remember. Probably right before they started filming. From what I can remember they filmed it late 2014 to early 2015. I guess Lego just looked at the concept art and just went "right, okay let's make this new piece".

@@RebelTrooper543 if you read some articles about the movie's production back then, it went through some development hell so these design changes are possibly affected by it but it kinda suprising how the movie turned out so good.

Bucky is already a perfect minifigure but that hair piece somehow makes him more accurate, such a hood minifigure

It’s a crime we have so little X-Men sets and so few Wolverine figures. Being a fan of action figures as well it’s refreshing to have a community that is actually happy to see good old Logan again.

with the requirement of movie rights, Marvel now has no reason to sabotage X-Men toys so I am looking forward to the sets we’ll be getting. I can totally see a UCS or Modular X-Mansion set coming in 5 or so years.

6:30 i personally like the old helmet more for Antman, although the old one had open mouth you can make it closed with Scuba Batman/Space Batman (i kinda forgot) underneath just like Minisuperheroes today did, and i think the mold is better than the flat printed new helmet

7:17 my one pet peeve about that new Ant Man piece is that it’s so flat… idk why but it just looks odd to me. Other than that it’s absolutely perfect

For America Chavez you could also use the Mrs Marvel hair

When I got a duplicate Scarlet Witch CMF along with Sylvie, I just swapped out the heads and now Sylvie looks normal, lol.

10:28 pretty sure you can get LEGO hands in the same colour as the shoulder pice you’ve added. So could switch them out.

I added the same shoulder pad piece and used the hands from the minifig in 31111 (the cyber drone) and it looks like a match to my eyes. Plus, the blue and black printing of stripes just kind of blur together into a darker blue anyway so it really gives it a cohesive look. I also added a darker blue hip piece from a Harry Potter minifig that seemed to match perfectly.

I too really wished that Lego could’ve gave the quantum realm suit Natasha the same hairpiece from Elsa from Frozen in the dark ginger coloring or they could’ve made a completely new mold for the hairpiece.

I think you should give Wolverine the yellow mid legs from lady doc ock from one of the spidey and his amazing friends sets since he’s supposed to be pretty short

I think These all look great except wolverine, idk that color combination and that neck peice are very unnecessary and not accurate

maybe the new ant man helmet is accurate cause its closed but it sacrificed all the cool and unique shaping to get something flat and i personally do not like that compromise at least thats just me, ill always prefer the original

I would change his face too, the bricktober on looks kinda like a bootleg with how thick the printing for his mouth and eyes are.

I think the Dr strange hair is amazing for Logan, it works very well

I do this with all my StarWars figs. When I see printed arms or legs or anything at all that can make a fig look better, I do it. And it's been real fun

For Black Widow the Poison Ivy minidoll hairpiece also a great choice, given you're ok with erasing the leaves.

You can use the easer trick on sharpie and print alike so if you do make a mistake (like I do most of the time.) no worries

I have a method for taking legs off a hip piece. (Granted I only advocate for changing arms and legs only when you really want to so you can avoid breaking or looseness) I use two brick separators and I just wiggle the legs off the hip, then I can do the rest with my hands

I’m gonna be honest if the Wolverine boots were blue I think it would be a lot better

For a new head for pepper, the man of steel Lois lane head looks more older than peppers current head

I have upgraded my wolverine using dark blue hands dark blue hands the dark shoulder piece you used on the legs from Harumi from Ninjago (kill Bill version in case you’re wondering)

A few years bag, I made a custom Logan mini-figure, cause I really wanted my own Wolverine, and for the hair I used the common black spiky hair piece, which I think makes for a really good like, savage or, like, clean look. And I think it’s a good substation for the og wolverine hair piece. And much cheaper

for bucky the cmf arm is goood to use for that bucky you showed as the photo you showed showed how dark his arm was

I actually did take the hip piece from the many Spiderman minifigs and use it on my Wolverine minifigure.

I'm honestly gonna use the widow's peak/joker hair in black for Wolverine, gotta use those duplicates for something.

For the boots for the Wolverine minifigure did you try looking for some duel molded legs in yellow and black? because the yellow and brown legs on that torso piece tickles my pickle the wrong way

Little tip i tried for Ikaris minifigure : replace his basic blue arms by dark blue arms. So much better and accurate to the movie and the fig is less boring !

When the Avengers Endgame sets came out, and I had the quantum realm set from Ant-Man and the Wasp, I did the exact same thing with the switch of Ant Man helmets. Great minds think alike

Based on the box art for the eternals sets, I think that the head from cmf bucky would also look good on ikaris.

If I was understanding right, you said that the mech suit wolverine was the first one Lego has made. If so, they made a un masked one and a brown suit one that came in X men sets

The ONLY thing I’d say should be changed is to have Wolverine in the half-pint legs. Since he is pretty small in comics. Although I don’t know if there are yellow half sized legs

I know that with the timing of this video and not after the Lego sanctum sanctorum 2022 was released, but if you grab the hair from 2022 Wanda and put it on the Wanda cmf it would just be more to detail.

Another good hair for Pepper Potts is Anna’s from frozen 2 and another head for pepper is Anna’s from the Disney cmf series.

I would have swapped the sliver Bucky arm for the cmf one cause in infinity war the arm wasn’t silver it was black so I would swap the robo arm from silver to black

I wouldn't have given him dual mold legs to represent the boots, as my first instinct was to give him mid legs. Poor Logan may be an absolute beast but canonically he has trouble reaching the top shelf

For Wolverine you should add dark blue hands to have more equal colors

Fun trick if you don’t have that hair for wolverine you could use Poe damrons hair

its prob mad expenive but the pepper face from the malibu mansion set from iron 3 is good.

With Wolverine, I switched out the hip piece for a dark blue one, same with the hands, and kept the legs solid yellow. I personally like the dark blue more than the lightblue and I think the design without boots looks better aesthetically, than clearly miscoloured boots do.

I don't know why but even though its the best piece to use for nat but the hair in general I don't like the mould of it, I think it's the top of it tbh
