This channel provides all the information i quite literally had to fight (hand to hand) to learn. No other yt channel can say that they influenced entire careers for young adults across the entire country and to say that is invaluable would be a complete understatement to what this team does for aspiring mechanics. @CGT80
2 жыл бұрын
@@areminderofwhatweare I don't watch sports and have zero interest in playing basketball, but if it isn't against the rules, go for it. Do basketball teams not pass the ball to a person waiting in a good location to easily get the ball in the net? I would bet the way the game is started would prevent you from doing what you described if you were a single player. If players on a team don't do that, then it is either not possible or practical or against rules....there are plenty of people out there just to win. I do watch Cleetus McFarland (for the mechanics, story, and characters/people, not really the racing) where they do what they can to win races and they have run their car with no coolant on a hurt engine and gambled further damaging it to win the race or set a new record. It depends on the players' goals. I compete in shooting competitions where I have to decide how I want to tackle a course of fire and there are sometimes shortcuts you can use that do not break the rules but require creative thinking or planning. Each course will have directions and /or requirements that vary and a big part of the game is for each shooter to decide what order and method to use to get the hits as fast as possible to have the fastest time.
Not sure how long you can keep this show going as it seems super high budget, but I gotta say it’s one of my favorites! Love it Donut keep it up

Super knowledgeable? These were backyard mechanic diagnosis. The fact he thought a 12V battery should be putting out alternator level voltage is concerning to even the most entry level mechanic.
Aaron congrats man! Was rooting for you the whole time and thanks Donut for giving us all this video!
You fellas just taught the masses the basics of anything carb related. In 16 minutes. Cheers to you and for teachin me a couple pro troubleshooting ignition tips!

yep, i finally learned about timing.
I can work on new engines but carb stuff confuses the heck out of me. I've learned more in this video than I ever knew. One of the best series you guys have honestly.
I love that y’all where ripping into him in the first half then helped him make it in the end. Y’all keep each video really dynamic and interesting to watch. Keep it up donut🤙
It's truly amazing video to watch . It is also one of the best video to learn about car diagnostics. Good job , Aaron. Thank you Donuts!!
What a legend. I've worked for a Ford dealership and a Mercedes Dealer as a tech as well as been working on cars for years before and after and I don't know if I could have diagnosed that and installed parts in 2 hours. That was impressive
This really interesting because I had the exact same truck when I was in the army. Except it was in really rough shape and I was on a really tight budget. I got it for 300 bucks and spent a summer getting it runnig right.
I think Donut is too nice to not stop someone from getting a car.

@@MarksterC Yeah but it wasn't the main issue to be fixed so I'll let it slide lol
I got my miata na turbo forged motor build started today due to this video. I was overthinking why it would not start and spent hours in tuner studio adjusting settings. Came in the house to take a break and eat some food to clear my head and stumbled across this video. When the ground topic came up I was like "Shit, I never reinstalled the ground strap from the head to the body. Couldn't find the OG so I made a new ground strap and vroom!!! she started right up! Now the tune is way off and I need to adjust my timing, but the new forged motor is purring. Easiest subscribe and like I made all year! Love the series - Keep them coming! A big Thanks to your crew!
Loving this series, please keep making more of these
instead of taking time off if they request the wrong part, you should just give them the wrong part lol

Lol. That would be interesting but someone would ask for a part they don’t have. They only prepare for the parts they sabotage

@@lvr1028 good point. And it wouldn't be very fun watching a video of 2 hours worth of head gasket repair just to see them not get a car at the end chasing gremlins. I think taking 10 minutes off for a bad part is perfect. You could waste literal weeks doing that in real scenarios

nahh that would take longer for them to install in some cases and they don't have time to take everything out to check it well so taking time off is probably a better way to do it when you are trying to create a youtube video
this guy felt like one of the host of donuts. the chemistry with mr mopower baby was insane. give this man a show about trucks.
I’m a helicopter mechanic and can fix a Blackhawk but trying to transfer what I understand to cars honestly leaves my lost in the sauce, kudos to these guys
I love these videos!!! I can relate to the truck position. I rolled my 2000 sierra sportside. I dont have an engine bay dolly so I cherry pick myself over the motor to check a little ole purge valve.
Would love to be part of this series, even if I’ve never worked on a car before 😪

One of my favorite yet most stressful episodes yet! I rebuilt a 1983 El Camino so this engine bay is familiar lol. I had most of these issues when i first got it 4 years ago lol. Beautiful truck also!!
15:20 the what time?
Realistically, we're gonna need a new set of rocker panels from the parts trunk as well as an unbent hood😂😂😂

I absolutely love this series, so great that you guys are able to give back to people. Just one of the many things that makes Donut what it is, props!
That was awesome... It gives a systematic way to approach auto problem s... Thanks fellas...
Thanks Donut for being the best Car Channel ! And giving us all knowledge! Y’all guys are hilarious
Yall should bring Aaron on the team he's gunny asf
Big respect to you guys for being helpful with the more frustrating parts, makes it feel more fair and not just like you’re picking on people 👍🏻
Learned some things and was very entertaining. Love you guys!
Love this series. Hope it never ends!
I love you guys started this series. It's amazing the amount of time and effort your guys put into your crew and your viewers. I literally only pay a subscription to you guys and haven't regretted since. Keep up the awesome work guys can't wait when y'all's videos drop
Aaron should be a host of a truck series
This actually was better than I expected. Thanks for doing this!
This video was awesome, I was on the edge of my seat man. I can relate to all this being a mechanic. Congrats on the Truck.
finally able to get a donut video under 1 hour, also good job to Aaron for fixing the truck with nearly 1 minute to spare!
Aaron would make a good edition to the team
This reminds me of being back in school. The instructors would “bug” cars kind of like this and have the students diagnose them. Stuff like the bad ground (bad connections) were a favorite, especially spread pins inside of connectors, because they would regularly trick people.
9:00 bro really got that default car parts ad from every cable tv car show in history
