yeast recipe: mix flour and water into a somewhat liquid. cover, leave on counter. Every day, add a spoonful of flour to the mix, occasionally water if it gets too thick. When the mixture begins to bubble, yeast is active. Keep in fridge, use as much as you need in recipe, literally the yeast left on the edges of the container are enough to make more yeast. Keep feeding it every day :) please like so she sees it!

That would be a starter for bread. Not yeast. It wouldn’t have the same purpose unfortunately. You could use that for sourdough bread though.

We adopted two babies and both took two to three years from beginning to end. I HIGHLY recommend starting your application asap especially if you don’t want a large age gap between Flynn and the new sibling. By the time you have a placement you’ll be ready! Good luck guys. It’s an amazing and intense experience. So so so worth it.

I was adopted from within family and it took my parents over a year to get all the paperwork done! And this process started before I was born and ended after I turned 1. I was also adopted out of country so that took even longer.

I feel like I’m too late for Colleen to see this but here goes: as I was watching this video today, I had this feeling like we are friends. I know that sounds weird, but I think it’s so awesome that Colleens brand is positivity and happiness and inclusivity. Thank you for being one of us and letting us be ourselves! Old lady here- sourdough starter is “catching” wild yeast so you could say you’re making yeast if you think of it that way. It’s just going to have a slightly different flavor that using the active dried yeast.

Maia Irwin if your serious you should try the CREA CLIP, I got it off of Amazon. It’s a clip with a level on it. Your suppose to put the clip on your bangs and your suppose to make sure the bubble on the level is balanced. Once you do that, your suppose to cut your bangs along the clip while holding it level. It’s tricky but it works! It’s really great.

I think she did it because she was raised this way, having a closest sibling with hearing disability. Coleen herself and all her family know the language because of her brother.

If you can't find yeast, you should make sourdough starter! All you need is flour and water. It ferments and turns into a thing you can use instead of yeast. You can use it in everything! Bread, waffles, biscuits. Anything that needs to rise.

Love sourdough starter but it does take atleast a week to grow a starter before you can use it and what you are doing is taking flour and water and growing wild yeast.

We have been teaching our baby girl sign Language to and it helps so much. Her first was more and she knows all done, bath, food/eat, shoes...omg she loves shoes, and we are working on manners and others

I know most youtubers don't do q & a vids anymore but we definitely want more Colleen's Corner whenever you can. Especially those of us who have been subscribed since the beginning!!! They honestly bring me peace and comfort I love them so much

My parents taught me those exact words in sign language as well when I was a baby. It’s definitely a very useful skill and I thought it was cool to hear that you’ve taught Flynn too!!

I'm fluent in Spanish, French, and Sign Language and of course English. I absolutely love that you're teaching Flynn sign it's so easy for them to understand the hand motions than trying to pronounce hard words. Other signs you should teach him are milk, water , poop, cracker ,cookie , mom ,dad and dog. BTW Queen when you said you weren't vlogging anymore because Vlarch was over my ❤️ was so sad then your like I pranked y'all I was Soo freaking happy. Thank you so much for your amazing channel it been like a little vacation from these crazy times.
