This hairstyle is deadass the only one that was all around cute on white girls back then-- when it came to mullet-type hairstyles that were big and curly. Either needed to know how to mimic these curls or had them naturally

Shag, yes; mullet, no. For a mullet, the sides should be much shorter, like to the top of the ear. Great new look!
