This may be an odd thing to notice but I love that you corrected your daughter for interrupting you while you were talking. You did it kindly but you let her know. So many KZread moms I watch let their kids talk over them or interrupt them without ever addressing it. Its refreshing to see something different. manners matter.

@@HopePhotoG very few toddlers love for you to brush but its very important to do it despite the fuss! I have luck having toddlers bite on the blunt end of one tooth brush with their back teeth while I use a second to get in and brush really well, alternating sides with the blunt end to make sure all the teeth get cleaned really well. best of luck!!

@@lilybeth4643 that's a good idea thank you! I try to be thorough and I haven't allowed him to have many sweets despite others wanting to give him treats lol. He's 18 months old. I read it's best to avoid much sugar till he's 2 so even though cake smashes ice cream etc is fun I'm encouraging him to enjoy other things first. So far he likes healthy food especially carrots to bite on when teething. Sarah's video was great info. I have been taking prenatal (22 weeks) and one kind is gummies and I want to switch cause I find they're too sweet and not great for your teeth. Part of a back molar broke when flossing. :( I floss and brush but have bad luck with teeth and my parents didn't force it when I was young. Hoping I can keep my boys healthier than mine have been.

In regards to dinner taking 4 hours to make and 15 minutes to eat....those are the meals where I will double or sometimes even triple the recipe, so we can eat it again in a couple days and/or freeze another meal to enjoy again in a couple weeks! That way I find I don't mind sinking so much time into them! :)

The comment you made about dinner!!! Oh my gosh yes!!! I don’t come from a family who cooks but i want to have a family that eats and cooks at home. At first I’d spend ours cooking I actually found it was discouraging me from cooking dinner and i felt more of a pull to eat out when i knew I’d spend a lot of time cooking for dinner to last 15 minutes. so I had to find balance and change what I was cooking to even out a bit more. Now the longest I tend to cook is an hour unless i want to. It has made eating and cooking at home much easier and enjoyable on me! I don’t come from a family of homemakers but it’s always been my desire to be a God fearing homemaker. I don’t have examples in my life to look up to, so I look up to you and your life so so much! 🧡

We had the privilege of going on a church trip to Germany and Switzerland a few years ago. One of the overnight stops was in the Alps and the deck of our hotel room looked out over a valley with the mountains really close behind. In the evenings and mornings the cows in the valley walked back to or away from their barn with big bells ringing on their necks. They were so far down we couldn’t see the cows. Heidi was a favorite book when I was little and I felt so blessed to be right there. I thought the grandfather could walk up at any moment.

I always get so excited when I see you have a new video! I actually had a baby within a couple days of Molly! It’s so fun seeing your postpartum videos as I’m going through it too!

Haha what you say about dinner preparation vs. eating time - my hubby ponders that really often (I'm the one who cooks mostly)

Hi Sarah! Love your channel and family 🥰 My husband and I are expecting our first in April and would love an honest review of all things newborn/baby that you picked up for this go around with Molly! It is OVERWHELMING how much baby stuff there is out there!! Thanks! ❤
