I can definitely prove this. I sunk into a massive depression, gained like 40 lbs and just had really bad problems and then I started working out and since I did that I got my confidence back, lost 35 of those lbs and I am actually happy now

Exactly. Mental health and motivation are ultimately the result of our actions and decisions, we can't just wait for "the right moment" with motivation (e.g. to lose weight) because it will never happen. Boogie however, keeps deluding himself into thinking that as long as he comforts himself and labels all criticism that makes him uncomfortable as "haters/trolls" and this behavior results in him basically engaging in a massive downward spiral in physical and mental health. In life pain is what makes us happy, since we need some pain to learn and succeed. Running away from all pain and discomfort results in a Boogie.

I'm not overweight but as someone who once was, I can understand him there. Some people smoke, some people drink alcohol every second day, some people seek highs by doing whacky shit (like the Russian roof jumpers we surely all know). In the end, there's a lot of unhealthy coping mechanisms that a lot of people tolerate and accept, overeating is one of them.The point is to fix the core issue eventually, though. Nobody needs to smoke, nobody needs alcohol and nobody needs to overeat.

At this point Boogie is a captain who not only goes down with his ship but holds passengers at gunpoint and forces them to go down too.

I realise you might not read this, but felt like it anyway. I realised not very long ago that I might be bisexual and, even more recently, I finally agreed to this in my head. After that I’ve been a different person entirely. Just the day after I looked my self in the mirror and thought: Hey, I’m actually quite attractive! It completely changed the that I have of myself and the thought of telling my closest friends about it made me even happier. The reason I tell you this is because I truly commend you in the best way I possibly can for saying the stuff you said when you talked about mental health! I first thought that the reason I was unhappy with way I looked was because I was a little overweight, so I started training. I lost some weight so it helped tremendously but I still wasn’t quite happy with the way I looked. So I really like the light you shine on the importance of how physical health can affect your mental health and, of course, being who you really are! Thank you. Love your vids. Haven’t watched you for long but can already tell I’m going to be watching for quite some time. Love and support to you Muta-san, but not in that way! ;D

Boogie was fat for so long his brain is hotwired to take pleasure from eating coz for a long time thats one of the few he only had for a small dose of happiness and arent we all and its called Vices and we choose to keep those unhealthy vices coz no hooman can get between me and my videogames. We hoomans are gullible and naive most of the time and we learn from experience and being not fat doesnt really make you THAT happy and most think its the only thing wrong with them and once they get pass it they think theyll be happy and most of them feels like they earned a priviledge being one of the out of obesity population so it gets in their head. You look for absolutely anything to keep you alive so that you can support the people around you that you’re caring about more than yourself. It’s hard to think about long term because you don’t even feel you have any long term. This was the only point in the video I found distasteful because we don’t know if he’s actually that depressed.
