Evolutionary traits like deep-sea gigantism probably wouldn't apply to a To'kustar, since they don't breed, they are born from cosmic storms. With Way Big it's probably just that the cosmic storms they're born from are big so they're also big.

They coud've said that the spikes on the shell allowed him to roll up vertical surfaces or even on ceilings like a rolly poly Spider-man. The thing is, Ultimate Cannonbolt makes a lot of sense when you think about the way ultimates are formed. They are put into a warzone and whatever evolves from that becomes the new ultimate, and Cannonbolt's shows that pretty well. They evolved to have a stronger metal shell for both increased defense and increased offence, the only problem is that the ultimate was just kinda boring.

@@romanfischer7307 imagine seeing more defensive aliens loosing their legs in favor of more strength but I would go with stealth and vice versa like XLR8 loosing his lighting speed for a solid armor ( he is fast just not blurring fast ) or four arms loosing his immense strength in favor of a flexible body ( he is still strong but not enough to lift a dump truck )

I love the crab-cannon Brainstorm except for the “dumb” bit. Keeping in mind the DNA evolves from being in a war zone for millions of years, it wouldn’t really make sense for him to become stupid since basic/above average intelligence would lend to his survival. Instead of just getting dumber, what if he transfers his book knowledge/tech know-how into tactical/strategic prowess and a Hawkeye-level understanding of angles and sharpshooting.

Ult Cannonbolt is one of those Ults that are "the same, but better" -I can turn into a ball +Well, I can turn into a ball, but I'm denser, AND got spikes for extra damage and can shoot them

I can see ultimate brainstorm v2 just being a related species to the original entirely. Like they evolved differently making them more combat oriented and sturdier which could make them more suited to a rocky/mountainous region. Also for some reason I just love Crab Cannons being a name for it.

As for the evolution of a species, if it's a 10,000 year war simulation, it would make sense that they would develop, even if forced by their own hands, into a more weapon based species, probably at the cost of intelligence. If it's a matter of survival over what they once were, survival is always taken into account...also Albedo DID look down on other life forms, so he would make the Cerebrocrustacean "Dumber" in his simulations as...well no matter how good a programmer you are, your bias will always show through, doubly so for an egotistical jerkoff like Albedo.

@@angelangelis8362 ps, yeah totally agree azmuth was always more open minded but albedo always had a big nerdy superiority complex and his grudges are never at all of the leash, however brainstorm may get dumber in general science and maths and strategy, but maybe all that brainpower could be completely shifted to the direction of practical tactics as it thinking and talking less and doing more, that way he can spend less time planning and more time blasting

Any alien that is just OP in anything, like Alien X being able to survive the universe being erased or Feedback being able to absorb the big bang level blast or Atomix creating a miniature sun, I hate on sight. It cheapens any amount of tension you could muster. How are you supposed to beat an alien that can casually tank the universe being erased? Why would I think Ben could lose a fight when I know he could bust out Alien X, Feedback, or any number of OP alien he has to survive and win?

The ultimate jetray design was absolutely godly. The lore that ink tank introduced for Jetray made him even greater. Nice and simple and "By far" (couldn't find the right phrase) my favorite design.

How I interpret the first Ultimate Chromastone ideas (Red and Pink) is that the pink Chromastone, being a 'fortress' as Ash stated, is the main body for Ben and could be the size of a skyscraper floating in the air, generating smaller red duplicates from his fragmentation ability. Meanwhile the red ones could channel energy from the pink to engage in combat and behave like a hive mind for their commander, whether being individually controlled or unanimously. But that's just my interpretation.

A lot of people always forget that the ultimatrix doesn't just evolve the DNA It evolves the DNA in a specific war scenario, So that only the DNA that adapts to the war zone survives. And that's what I really like your second version of ultimate brainstorm it's sacrifices intelligence for strength and power, if the DNA was not put into a war scenario brainstorm probably would only get smarter and have a bigger brain, but because the need to fight and survive is introduced and the DNA is specifically being evolved for war the intelligence is sacrificed to make a tank.

I think the first version of Ultimate Brainstorm fits thematically. My head canon is that the entire race transferred their brains into mechanical bodies that are better suited for combat after years of conflict against another alien race.

Ultimate Cannonbolt could have definitely had so much more, particularly like you’ve done. Rather than just have him be a recolour of his previous form and give him alarm bells and spikes and boom there you go. His, along with Ultimate Big Chill’s design, needed more cosmetic features and adjusted proportions to show that they’re evolve forms, if you will, but still give them recognisable features.

The two Ultimate Brainstorms look like they could actually work. My idea is that when put into the 1,000,000 year simulation for evolution, his species evolved into two separate forms, the cerberal crustaceans with electromagnetic powers, and the other cerebral crustaceans with a more bulkier physique, sacrificing some of their intelligence for more defense and power

I know it’s already been said before, but do an Ultimate Form for the rest original Ben 10 aliens. Yes, INCLUDING Wildmut, just reimagine it like you did Canonbolt.

LET THEM FIGHT

An idea I had for Ultimate Cannonbolt was to just double down on his destructiveness and make him into a full on wrecking ball. In my idea he would be able to shoot chains out of his body in a similar way to Ultimate Humoungasour can shoot missiles from his hands and be able to latch onto things to either pull them in closer or to swing around on them like a wrecking ball. Would also be a fun nod to Cannonbolt's debut episode as Ben references the Spiderman movies when testing out his powers by making Cannonbolt do the wrist poses Peter does when trying to shoot his webs. Really like your take on it though as well, along with the other ones!

I love these (re)designs, though I’d also like to raise one question for each one. ⬇️ Ult. Goop - If Goop can’t reattach severed limbs seamlessly, can’t he just auto-cannibalize and recycle them? Ult. Jetray - How well does Jetray respond to gravity, considering how he’s genetically adapted to zero-gravity scenarios? Ult. Brainstorm A - Would Brainstorm be able to forge new limbs to control, considering the mechanical nature of his new appendages? Ult. Brainstorm B - Do the electric cannons _directly_ run on Brainstorm’s brainpower, or does he store some rechargeable shots? Ult. Chromastone A - How exactly has Chromastone’s powers changed? Ult. Chromastone B - How much of Chromastone’s powers were altered by Diamondhead’s influence? Ult. Cannonbolt - How well can Cannonbolt control his tail?

The reason I love this series and re-watching it over and over again is because of how beautiful your designs are and how your explanation feels like this ultimate forms are created from just the natural course of evolution instead of a million years of continuous war that forces them to evolve. In other words, i love it cause how your explanation feels like all those other speculative evolution. :)))

Idea for the power of Ultimate Cannonbolt. The idea of the concept of him is that it is based on being a cannonball or a wheel. Its evolution could be similar to a ball combined with a shell of spikes (similar to that of an chainsaw), being able to destroy everything in its path and even climbing walls thanks to its spikes, its weakness is that due to the extremely fast turning it is unable to bounce or maneuver freely like its original form. In summary Cannonbolt would be the living concept of "An unstoppable force"

Something you could’ve done with Ult. Cannonbolt could’ve been making him noticeably smaller. Like sacrificing his size which allowed him to basically steamroll opponents, but making him much faster as a result like a sentient speeding bullet

That's an idea - placing his entire head on the 'outside' of his shell. It's a dramatic change to the OG cannonbolt design, and does have the drawback of exposing his eyes to damage unless there's a clear armored eyelid that helps protect it, and.. well, I'm not sure how he'd feasibly be able to see when he's constantly rotating, even with eyes out. They'd have to be near the shoulders/sides of his ball form, so that they'd be closest to a single position..

Jury rigg has always been way better than upgrade to me, (mainly because the Omnitrix mechamorph can neither remember tech, nor permanently upgrade it) Jury rigg can work from nothing up to a space ship. Drop both into medievil England, after a year, Jury rigg would have a time machine, upgrade wouldn't have anything to work with in the first place.

Due to the sheer number of possible variables from a million-year war simulation, I'm guessing that the ultimatrix takes either the most combat/survival efficient or the most likely possible evolutionary traits from various possible paths of evolution and alters the DNA to essentially stack them into one form, hence why the ultimates weren't very functionally cohesive since some adopted traits needed excluded traits to bring out their full potential. Otherwise it makes no sense for them to be as weak as they are. Also, the colour palette change is prolly due to terrain damage due to warfare. It'd be interesting if the simulation was them trying to overcome all their natural predators while dying over and over and evolving abit with every death match, but it would mean they'd need the predator DNA data in the Omnitrix too.

It’s kind of a shame that with all the shade being thrown at ultimate wildmutt we didn’t get a redesign of him

I don’t even think he was a badly designed Ultimate, just kind of a wasted one. The only real changes to his abilities were a tail blade and the ability to talk.

And fun fact. Unlike other metal oxides or "rusts" coppers is completely superficial. Meaning you can copper back to its original color without a loss of material.

Now, I will have to start off to say, that watching these concepts being brought up here, I LOVE them and their creativity towards their new sets, being ultimate versions of themselves. The one concern I have for all of this is just one thing: What would be the worst case scenario that has these specific aliens achieve their ultimate state?

i like ultimate jetray. it's thousands of years in a simulated combat zone. where does jetray spend time? space. what is space combat? giant space ships. so what happens? grows massive to laugh at space ships trying to hurt him.

ultimate goop and jetray were awesome but i was especially wowed by the ultimate cannonbolt redesign and both versions of ultimate brainstorm, the pangolin tail is such a creative bonus to give to such a hard alien to add onto and i've always felt like brainstorm was a huge waste of a crablike alien but both of your ideas utilize his physiology in much more interesting ways

13:24 Ya know, the idea of Ultimate Chromastone having the ability to shoot crystals actually gave me another idea for this ultimate. What If he could store the energy he absorbs into the crystals he shoots and the energy stored inside causes the crystals to explode, giving him the ability to shoot crystal grenades.

Ultimate Cannonbolt being just Cannonbolt with a gun is such a stupid idea that i actually wanna see it unironically XD

Something I love Ash does later is giving these Ultimates a different name. It make it feel like they *could* be regular aliens. With the ones that keep the look of the base form with 1-2 changes in design like Brainstorm 2 potentially being a subspecies or like a colony species that evolved differently. But there’s not really names for these guys so I want to give them names. Goop: Globulous (or just Glob) Jetray: Star Sail Chromostone 1 (both designs could be subspecies of the same species): Gemstorm Chromostone 2: Auramight Brainstorm 1: Crab Top Brainstorm 2: Crab Cannon (maybe Krab Cannon?) Cannonbolt: Paingolin or Paingolem (I know it’s not a golem in any way but it sounds like the golin)

For Ultimate Canonbolt, I think a volcanic sort of theme would be cool. His rolling could be boosted by fire, and his shell is a kind of volcanic rock. He can even breath fire, a cool callback to when ben first got Canonbolt and tried to breath fire.

Really like Ultimate Jetray here. Gives off Leviathan vibes. Y'know, like a big sea monster, but instead of the ocean, it swims about the vast expanse of space.

The colour thing was only seen in UA, iirc. Ultimate Rath, Ultimate Grey Matter/Albedo and Ultimate Gravattack all have the same colours as their regulars. Aside from that, Gravattack and Rath don't seem to lose any powers, nor does Ultimate Wildmutt.

Well, since all Albedo Aliens in Omniverse are red, Black or white, it makes sense that his ultimates have the same colours as their base form, but yeah, if i guessed what colours these guys could have if it was Ben's, i would say that ultimate rath would be something that helped him sneak into forests or savannas, because his clothes are a bit more "junglelish", like a green or lion aspect Gravattack would be something like Black or a dark colour, since his basically a planet and probally lives in space, it would make sense that he would have dark textures to match his habitat Ultimate Gray matter....well, i dunoo.since he is basically Mordoc, maybe yellow or purple?Meh, it would'nt be really good see a YELLOW ultimate Gray Matter, so i think he would still bem gray, but a metalic gray maybe?because he have so much tecnologic features y'know? Ultimate Artiguana....i think white is good, simple but good, it would be strange another ice alien that turns into a red ultimate Ice alien, so white would be a better option

If I were to remake ultimate Rath, i’d have based him on Heel wrestlers Like the Undertaker. Allowing him to make creepier drawn out monologues thar are surprisingly insightful in their insults while giving him an insane pain tolerance and stealth to just steak up on folks in the dark.

Keeping with with whole small number of connected aliens, I think it would be really cool to see the ultimates for Agragor's aliens, and maybe at the end have an "Ultimate Agragor"

Mind blowingly incredible job, O.R.ASH! Honestly, if I didn't know what all the ultimate aliens were, and you showed me these, I would think they were actually canon!

5:03 - I think there was an Ultimate form almost Official to Jetray. 8:36 - I think an Ultimate form to Brainstorm can be something like in Bakugan anime series, because it is a Crab (Brainstorm / Bakugan Terrorclaw) that can evolve into a Scorpion (Ultimate Brainstorm / Bakugan Stinglash), and you can extend all his brain's electrical capacity from his head to the beginning of his tail, the pincers can fire charged electrical beams just like the stinger that he has at the tip of his tail. You can also give him the ability to create electromagnetic fields or shoot electromagnetic bursts or electromagnetic pulses. Sorry by bad English.

I would love to see the original ten playlist as ultimate aliens. Besides wildmutt

something I feel would have help to this, is that ultimate forms were simulated in a warzone AGAINST THEIR OWN SPECIES so when you couldn't find something to add,you could find something that genetically makes sense to defeat itself,a lot of aliens like it (I'm just in the Jetray part,so don't take it that seriously,great work with goop tho,I havent seen jetray yet)

@@black97_0 the guns for the evolved vaxasaurans is basically a cone snails harpoon on steroids. They have a modified ragula (tongue covered in teeth) that acts like a harpoon they shoot at prey. So the evolved vaxasaurans went step further and made them detachable and put them in a sort of modified siphon like squid and octopus have.

Nicely done with the Ultimate Forms! Truly makes me wanting to see them in the show.

Ill say this: i love the idea of different versions of Ultimate Aliens. One concept that should have been explored: What would an Ultimate Alien look like if it evolved in different battle fields^^ imagine a land-evolved JetRay! Gimme my Neuro blasting Flying Elephant!

This is fantastic, the one thing people actually wanted for years

I actually really love all of these designs. I hated they never gave every alien an ultimate form. I love how each of these feels like they evolved to these better forms. Especially love what you did to canonbolt. I hated how he just became metal ball with weird rods. Never made sense to me. But yours is actually like a species that became something else. They were all about defense, so they slowly grew more armor, the tail could easily be explained as a way for them to maneuver while in ball form, or simply to help them balance or like turtles have an elongated limb to push them if they ever got stuck on their back. The trade off would simply be speed. They are not as fast as they are larger and heavier than a normal Arburian Pelarota. Though with chromastone, I do love your idea about him gaining a crystal ability. I would think an evolved version of their crystal abilities could have just been straight up Geomancy. Now they can control their own crystals, along with the terra of other planets and or crystal like substances. Everything else is amazing.

@@7473R maybe more vulnerable to physical force as their bodies are more crystalised than rock crystals which makes them more brittle as they are more focussed on absorption and reflection

@@bryanyap3888 That could work, but they are part stone now, so maybe instead the energy they fire off is now limited. Half of the original chromastone's ability was absorption and then redirection. What if instead now they just generate their own energy blasts, but it takes time to recharge it.

Your 2nd Ultimate Chromastone idea with the crystal lightning rods reminds me of Spacegodzilla. Nice. I also love your Ultimate Brainstorms. I feel like the 2nd one would be a UAF Ultimate, while the first one would be an Omniverse Albedo variant.

I’d think that it has more to do with imperfect energy transfer, so while he can absorb most of the goop back, it doesn’t have a 100% efficiency, so he’d still lose some degree of mass

I always liked the idea that the ultimate forms have that basis of "we simulate that species surviving for 10mil years, and that's what it evolved into", and because of that I like the idea of that some aliens just don't evolve in the scenario. Like Alien X and Chromastone don't have ultimate forms not because artists just said no, but because they are alien X and Chromastone, they are already super optimal for any combat scenario, similar to the Cannonball, it already can survive pretty much everything, so its evolution doesn't change much

If a war happened in the forge of creation celestialsapiens would die and given enough time they would eventually evolve to favour celestialsapiens that can act more and therefore potentially remove the personality limitation entirely as if their happened to be a variant of celestialsapien that was mono minded it would be the strongest celestialsapien as proven by ben beating the galactic gladiator after getting full control of alien x

@@greatdimkpa1467 They do need to evolved, because: 1-The Ultimatrix simulates a warzone to force it to become more battle-oriented 2-Even if they can reshape reality, they aren't the absolute top dogs. There are still beings more powerful than can be a treath to them "I can't see any war that AlienX wouldn't be able to win" That's cuz that' the whole point of AlienX, his powers are beyond human imagination and comprehension. You just have to accept that even as unbeatable as he sounds, he still has flaws, but you can't see them. It's like how people can't understand that there are infinities bigger than other infinities

I feel like Ultimate Goop should have been what the Humungoopsaur fusion should have been so as to remove the tiny saucer needed to keep the Goop half stable and only have the bandoleer. Or have it be that it would have multiple of the saucers on the bandoleer to quickly control and regain any bits that get separated from his main body without having to manually walking over to the separated goop pile and reabsorbing it, also noted by someone else here in the comments on how Ultimate Goop would work as far as the separation ability. Ultimate Chromastone: - 1: I honestly like Pink more, but I DO like Red's head and the idea of him able to use telepathy or something so he has floating crystals to utilize. - 2: I feel like they needed to flesh out the idea of Chromastone being connected to Diamondhead more, like at the very least it would have been nice to see some of the Petrosapiens both look close to Chromastone in silhouette and also not just be carbon silhouette copies of Diamondhead and Tetrax. Also random thing: Was looking up pics of Diamondhead to find Tetrax because I couldn't remember how to spell his name, came across Mad Ben, and came to a realization that they missed out on giving him a more appropriate name to mirror Mad Max due to that being his design/idea origin, so I submit his new name from "Mad Ben" to be "Berserk Ben". I like New Ultimate Cannonbolt, legit want it to be the actual canon variation just so it actually has a more unique silhouette and not just a metallic sheen/cover on the basic Cannonbolt like he went and got both a paintjob (or a tattoo job depending on how you look at it) and glued some metal nubs onto himself (or got some piercings depending on how you look at it), basically like a less tame version of Mad/Berserk Ben's Cannonbolt.

I like the redesigned Cannonbolt, but weird question; why not get rid of the actually ball ability all together? Why not make the tail this massive armored weapon essentially and make the rest of Cannonbolt much more lean and on all fours, this way he actually runs much faster and has, essentially, a massive shield/mace attached to him that he can use, along with being able to grapple enemies and move with much more precision. I at least think it's a neat idea, and love your concept too!

Man I liked the ultimate wild mutt design. He seems more beastly and scary. Should have given him the ability to launch projectiles from his tail like a manticore.

I imagine that Brainstorm 1 would be designated as “Ultimate Brainstorm,” while the second would be just a standalone designation called “Crabcannon” (although he does call both subspecies of Gourmand “Upchuck”) and that Brainstorm was in a war scenario where it could emphasise it’s electric abilities and turn it into electromagnetism, while Crabcannon was in a more generic wartime scenario where it’s electric ability and intelligence had to be ditched for general power.

Seeing the two Brainstorms… it makes me wonder if the first one is just an intelligence “Cold War” with the Galvans. As for the second one I thought of a combat based against near extinction scenario and must fight for self-preservation over intelligence. Speaking of the 2nd Brainstorm design, I thought of something for Rath of all things… What I thought of was that while Rath/Appoplexians initially just rush in and basically beat everything down. I wondered if they traded off their strength to be akin to like Taskmaster from Marvel in a sense. They would trade off their bravado and strength to that of being more intelligent and being able to copy martial fighting styles of different species to then quickly and efficiently eliminate their adversaries along with a similar design to that of Ultimate Rath from Omniverse.

You are a GENIUS! An evolved Appoplexian would have to adapt that way because a million year long war would be already harsh and pure beef/muscles wouldn't be the best option. I imagine that Ultimate Rath is way more silent than his pre-evolved counterpart, with a slimmer build, made for agility and more precise strikes rather than blunt punches.

I REALLY LIKED THIS because I really only like drawing sci-fi things I even did 2 sketchbooks of Ben10 aliens and enemies

An idea I had for an ultimate alien that we never saw- Ultimate Wildvine: He can shoot his shoulder seeds farther, and grow them into massive forests of vines, but he loses his stretchy powers. In fact, his legs are rooted in place and the only way he can move is by moving the ground beneath him with his vines

Maybe if he's in midair his roots will grow downward until they reach a solid object, so it's a bit of a cheat sheet for Ben to get higher up so that his Ultimate Wildvine can be bigger than he normally would be. Basically can be the size of a large shrub to tree sized

Ultimate heatblast would be cool incorporating ice abilities Ben got when he is sick

I think that would be cool, but I believe that magma manipulation of some kind would be cooler for Heatblast. Like a big lava rock, that would be dope

He will have photon powers in his ultimate form but I think he will still have the same look as base from but more white flames with orange plates on his body

Here's what I would've done for my redesign for ultimate wildmutt: 1) Give him the mouth that the null void version of vulpimancers have. 2) I would've given ultimate wildmutt big stripes all along his body, legs, and tail. 3) Instead of him having that row of bony spike things on his back, I would've given ultimate wildmutt a couple of rows of steel spikes along the entirety of his back, which he can use along with his heat tracking. As in once someone is in a specific range of ultimate wildmutt's heat tracking, he can shoot off those steel spikes as projectiles, which will grow back immediately. 4) Ultimate wildmutt would also have steel claws that can extend to great lengths, so that if the steel spike projectiles would cause more damage and harm, he could go with the steel claws instead. 5) I would keep his tail spike, but make it be made out of steel, have it be retractable, and also give ultimate wildmutt the ability to control how long it'll get as well, once he has it out.

Please make a part 2 on this topic. Your conception of ultimates are lot more cooler than the cartoon network's ultimates. I'ld love to see how you draw an ultimate waybig.
