GIVI BAG REVIEW
I just bought and used these GIVI soft saddle bags for sports bikes, so in general I was very happy about the bags and even when going 160 kph the bags still stayed in place.
The 2 bags are each 15 liters and are perfect for soft use and by that I mean what you put in to them... clothing, jeans, t-shirts and so on....
Only warning for the right side bag over the muffler, the bag has no head protection so you have to take precautions not to burn it.
I have a carbon muffler, so that was no problem for me....
In overall I am very happy with the bags, they are easy to use and only take 3 minutes to fit on the bike.
I paid about 96 euro for them and they have brought me only but joy while traveling.
Just remember that the bags are not water resisting and that you need to use the rain protection that is with the bags.

Have you tried mounting the bag the other way round? I mean, the triangular part at the back, and the squarish bit in front.. It might have more clearance from the exhaust.. BTW I'm looking for a suitable saddlebag for a sports bike.
Has enough room to fit a helmet;

Did 6000 km with these bag's without any problem. Must have done something Wright.
Bags are the wrong way around. The small pouch goes to the front for carrying drinks/flask etc. Otherwise it's a decent review. I have these on my Burgman 400 but they're mounted on Fehling racks to keep them off the chassis of the bike. I had them on a 200 Burgman previously but they damaged the paintwork and rubbed off one of the 3d bages.

Thanks for the info but when I did it like you said the drinking holder got in the way of my heels. And I notice that it was more streamlined this way as I was riding on the motorway above 120 kph the Baggs started shaking. They do rub off on the paint which is never good. Thanks for the feedback safe riding.
I can't beleive how you can feel safe with lateral bags mounted in this way, and without lateral frames....this not a review, is HOW NOT TO DO!

rickycante then please show me any other to fix those givi bags on a sportsbike. They are put just right following all instructions and I have taken them for a 8000 km trip to and from Spain without any troubles.
