I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE! I honestly think that Givenchy let the Serge Lutens Chergui hype die down and created a clone of it and added the best parts of D&G The One EDP. This scent profile has been out for a while so it's not ground breaking but it brings me back to a moment in time. In 2013 the youtube fragrance community was in its infancy and Chergui and The One were being hyped to no end. Naturally 18yr old me bought both and took them to Morocco with me. Gentleman RP reminds me of that amazing trip. How does it smell? Beautiful. Exotic. Imagine walking into the finest humidor in Morocco holding an open jar of honey, except this humidor has been emptied of all tobacco and filled with cups of whiskey and rum. In the room the humidor is in, the fireplace is burning with fine Moroccan wood, chestnuts, and hay. Through an open window off in the distance you catch whiffs of fresh cinnamon/amber incense blowing in from the Moroccan Bazaar, carried on the hot desert winds. I would suggest anyone to pick up a bottle of Chergui, especially since you can get it for about $80 nowadays

Damn! I'm Moroccan, and the way you describe the scent and the whole trip/olfactive experience is almost religious and mystic. I'm thinking of taking this Givenchy along with Tom Ford Black Orchid and Bvlgari Man in black. I just try to mourn and compensate the discontinuation of my favorite fragrance: Armani Eau de nuit, a mysterious, luxurious, seductive, dark and sensual nectar. Cheers from Casablanca.

I was on a clearance sale, thus trying a million fragrances, and bought this one for my man. One spray and I was like WOOOW, this just stood out from everything I smelled. This is dangerous mysterious business man in a bottle.

Yours assment is spot on. I tried both by samples first and then purchased the preve version. It just has that tiny extra something that put it over the top for my first givinchy purchase and its definitely a keeper for me. Definitely recommend trying some flanker samples of anything when buying first time from a particular line. They are actually all good but it was a matter of which one was better. Nice to know from various reviews to see that the ladys like it as well so that is a definite plus. Thanks for the good review 👍

when there are many flankers, it is great when a reviewer compare them and explain the differences. Of course you cant compare to all of the flankers else people will get confused with too much information.. so I really liked the explanation here

I tried the 3 and this stood out with the whiskey vibe. It just seems more mature and reminds me of gentleman in a gentleman's club. Even the shop assistant recommended it for me. Top choice. My first toe in the fragrance ocean. Thanks for sharing great content

Tried the new 1 Million Elixir, Phantom, Victory, YSL Y Parfum, etc. These 3 from the gentleman line destroys them all. They smell so high quality in comparison it’s no contest and the compositions of each were more pleasing and unique as well.

Love to see you do a review of 1821 Man Made, Sweet Tobacco Spirits. I think it's the only fragrance they have, but it's a beast. Great projection and a compliment getter. Only for cool to cold weather, through.

Got to admit this stuff is really good 👍🏾 this is my first Givenchy fragrance and I love it❤️🔥🙏🏽 love the dry down on this fragrance!! To my nose it's silky, creamy smooth and chocolatey 🍫🥃 I get a hint of booze in the beginning but it goes away rapidly but I still love this fragrance and I'm very happy with my purchase and this review!! Bit of a cooler summer day today here in Cali. so im wearing this and loving it. The macys gift pack with shower gel and travel spray was totally worth it. The shower gel that came with smells like Dior sauvage parfum and gf cant help sniffing me up and down after shower.

I tried it today on my left wrist, and Burberry Hero on my right wrist. I could smell my arms all day ( and still can ) despite allready wearing Prada L’Homme when i left home. 😂 I feel tempted to buy it tomorrow. 🌹

For me this is the best elegant, 2 season fragrance on the world. It has everything what a fragrance need and of course womens love this. It easly beat dior sauvage. I'm 17 and It is my top 5 fragrance collection.

The whiskey and chestnut is in the dry down. The secret to this fragrance is in the dry down, very much like women's Chanel No.5, but better. I personally don't like the Chestnut, but everything else is lovely. I thought that it also had tobacco leaf as well? All I can say is that the dry down is where it's at. I pair the Reserve on inner sprays, and the Boisee on outer sprays. Mixing them is amazing. Projection on me lasts about 2 days. It is VERY nice for both smokers as well as folks who smell. . . musky. It's sexiest when paired with your natural musk, as it turns soapy anc clean (just like Women's Chanel No. 5) Source: I work in Macy's fragrance for men and women.

Thank God Givenchy Gentlemen line got 15 ml bottles, so you can easily bought a whole line for any season/situation and it will not destroyed your wallet

Big fan of Gentlemen Boises for winter and Gentlemen Cologne for summer...never put my nose on EDP but Winter is almost over stateside...guess I'll have to way until next fall to grab it as it will end up collecting dust until cooler weather.

It's a really great fragrance I like it. To my nose it's seems like a sweet version of Bentley for men intense, once again to my nose.

Impressive Video Michela! In the next video please talk about Amouage Interlude Man / Swiss Arabian Oud Abyad those are almost the same. Dankjewel

I was so excited to see your review on this and I can't wait to try it. I picked up Boisee at a fantastic price and I, and everyone who tries it loves it. However it has less woods and more iris than I remember and the performance isn't great as I get better performance with Prada L'homme (performance is good on me)

Sounds like a nice flanker. At least this time they created a bottle that can be recognized. Whenever I pick up one of my Givenchy Gentleman bottles, I have to hold the bottom under a light to see which one it is. I'd still prefer if it they wrote the name of the flanker on the bottle.

Love the Givenchy gentleman line but this one smell's very same like Dior homme intense or Valentino uomo intense. The irises are heavy a bit smokey in these 3. Imo if you have Dior homme intense or Valentino uomo intense this one is a waste of your money. But if you are a collector then go for it. And what I have heard is that Valentino uomo intense is discontinued. Love the bottle color tho. I was expecting more of this Givenchy. A bit more boozy but you can hardly smell it. A great review Michella. Keep them coming. When will you bring out an fragrance? A Collab with a fragrance house. Think it would be a great surprise. And yes I am a very big fan of this line too. People sleeping on this line. Givenchy line smell's really good. Try reviewing: 1240 eau du parfum and lalique white in black.
