Give Away FREE Beats???🧐 What Is You Talkin About?? | Producergrind Clips

You're Afraid ...Your Beats Are Going To Be Stolen BUT Don't Worry We Got You! Charlie Rocket tells us about the "No Free Beats" approach and how this could stop your business from growing. Ceo Charlie talks about how to use email marketing and persistence to get you to sell beats. Now I know what you're thinking... "How can you give beats away for free and sell beats?". Well I'm glad you asked, watch to see how people like Zaytoven, Mike Will Made It and DA Got That Dope turned free beats into pay days!! In essence what DA Doman was doing since 2013 was effective email marketing and networking, even though Charlie never used any of the beats some how some way this man ended up becoming one of the biggest producers in the world. And guess what we got the evidence to show you the grind. Im telling you we might just have to rethink the " No Free Beats" mentality. What yall think tho? Is it still no free beats or is it come get these free beats??🤷

    rappers also make 10x the money that the producer makes. but if ya arent willing to pay for your craft, well then find a label to bankroll you. but if youre trying to be independent, well then ofcourse that is going to involve money out of your pocket ti reach success. what do you think the whole selling point behind having a label is? lol. labels dont pay rappers. labels simply give out loans to rappers with every intention of seeing that money plus interest on the backend. nobody just pops without either putting money in to it for production or putting time in to learn the production themself. either way youre paying money and that dont even include marketing. aint nothing free homie and if you know your shits dope than that shouldnt be a problem for you either.

    People are clearly missing the whole gem....You ain't really giving someone a free beat..... If your biz it boxed off correctly and somehow you get a beat to massive artist you are gunna get payed for 20 years if it pops off....all he's saying is why ask for a quick 5k just to be stubborn when in the long run you stand to make life changing money.....obviously if it's a small artist who aint really doing shit then get that money but if a Drake calls you and says hey im jumpin on this track it's gunna be a smash you better give the motherfucker that beat and fast.

    It's one thing giving free beats to rappers with legitimate clout and traction of some kind but most rappers who don't even have 10 shows under their belt want you to give them every beat you got. Each beat takes hours to make up and years of learning to make good beats but some nobody closet rapper thinks he's fuckin Nas up in your studio talkin about "let me have free shit" Fuck no. You're trippin. Many rappers just want a free ride. Rappers be talkin about securing the "bag" and then hardly can pay for any studio time and they rip off youtube beats all day, every day. The hip hop game has producers fucked up right now. Big facts.

Lotta dudes out here that don't give a fuck about sharing clout or sharing their favorite producers or none of that shit. They just want you to give them their beats, record em for free, and then get all the credit by themselves. Nah, fuck all that. The rap game is filled with this shit right now. In the Rock/Metal world.. shit's completely different. Your name goes ON the fucking rear album art and you get credits EVERY TIME. Even better.. you actually get paid. • @AlexErrday
    @AlexErrday4 жыл бұрын

    Guys, let's be clear. The music business is a completely different business; buying a beat for an artist is not the same as buying a t-shirt or food. Buying a beat is an investment and artists are never 100% sure whether this investment will be successful. Therefore, when they hear the beat and you immediately demand money, it pushes them away from you. I often came across the fact that artists change their attitude towards beats. Imagine yourself in their place, it's like listening to a new album from your favorite artist: from the first listening you like most of the songs, but then you listen to only 2-3 of the best tracks. The same thing with the artists, they might like one beat, and then the next day they don’t like it anymore. Nobody wants to pay for something that they will not use. I believe that beats should be free for non-profitable use (except custom beats or exclusive beats). Lil Nas X wouldn’t blow if he just posted his track on Apple Music & Spotify and didn’t do promotion on KZread and Instagram. If artists don't have money to buy a beat (they have), then they can download free versions of beats, record songs and release them on free platforms. Just giving beats to everyone in a row is disrespect to yourself, no one will even think about paying you if you don't tell them about it.

    If that’s the case why do you never see a engineer engineering for FREE?! Or the owner of a studio letting a major artist use the studio for free? Don’t let people fool you, if you’re not about your business nobody will respect you enough to work. They just gone think this 1 less person I have to pay in the process. Honestly If producers are supposed to give beats away for free to not “fuck up a relationship”, why artist still come outta pocket to pay for engineers, studio time, videos? So they supposed to just skip the producer? Yeah no buddy. Artist pay every person but seemingly it’s tried to be normalized for a producer to not ask for their bag like the engineer, studio owner, and videographer...WHO STILL GET PAID!!

    for anybody who is confused, that last minute where he answers the 2nd question..... THAT IS CALLED MANIFESTATION. lol likei heard a dude on another video commenting like "there is no such thing as manifestation, theres only preparation n hard work" to which i say youre not wrong about the second half, but youre confused because that IS what manifestation means. yeah of course nobody just sits around and just thinks about making it big and then makes it big. duh. but thats not what anybody was claiming. everything in life takes hard work. and the best things in life require alot of that labor upfront. without pay. therefor Manifestation is putting in that free labor because you already KNOW that it isnt "free" at all; its just a paycheck that you receive after the job is done. manifestation is a confidence in ones self. and it turns in to success once the self is able to convince the rest of us that they are as dope as they know they are. Manifestation is a mindset. hardwork and time is the vehicle that gets you there. good luck yall. i hope every one of you that has been grinding and paying dues now, eventually receives that paycheck tomorrow. stay up!

It’s very easy for someone who receives, exploits, and profits from beats without making them to say produces should send beats for free daily. Legion and AD literally have the most success, freedom, and control over their career I’ve ever seen for non-industry producers. When they say you should give away free beats, let’s be clear that THIS is not what they mean. It might very well be the opposite.

    I just realized today that more than likely if I was to go into a music studio today. I will be working with a bunch of people who do not own their own business. And I own my own business. So I know business. And I'm surrounded by a bunch of employees. And then I'm supposed to be nice to everybody. When we don't even think the same about how we earn in our income. There's no way in hell. That I'm going to play the game the way that it's played now. It's going to be on my terms or it won't be shit at all. I've already been successful in making money in other business ventures. I will figure this music thing out. And I will not be giving away anything that I don't want to. There's too much of that, that goes on in that business. Because it's populated by a bunch of employee minded people. With a freelance attitude on how they earn their money. Instead of having a boss mentality. That's why so many of them get beat out of their own money.

    Yeah and how can you claim anything without 1. A copyright on your beats 2. Prove it's actually yours. And if you have a copyright the label won't use it if their own ghost producers make it cheaper. Chew on that Meninmen lol 😂

    Every beat has a copyright on it as soon as its created so every single beat ever used by any artist or label has a copyright on it owned by the producer/producers/composer that created it

    Sontwisted that's only correct in a perfect world. The fact is you need to register everything you make with ascap or BMI etcetera. But if someone uses your beats you need to prove that the beats are yours if you want to make a judicial claim! And how are you supposed to prove that it's your beat unless it's copyrighted? Why do you think we have copyright laws you fool???

    Things Change lmao bro literally nobodies ever heard of you or your beats. Fuck how good they are, do you even have the resume to be able to back up not giving out any beats for free? You acting like it’s not a million other people out here that make beats just as good if not better than yours that rappers can get, FOR FREE 😂

    Ash Bajaj did you watch the video. Have you ever been in a studio session. There is literally never a situation when a producer forces a rapper to pay before hopping on their beat. Its literally as he said “Marcus pull up the beats” and then “oh this is hard I’m bout to head in the booth” your mentality is only stopping you from making songs with artists and progressing in your career. The money will come on the back end if you put the work in.

    atdenn yeah you get it 😂, I’m not even tryna be disrespectful to them other two guys but if you want to make it doing something as left field as producing you gotta realize that you probably aren’t gonna make that much money at first, you gotta be consistent, patient and grind but best believe if you put it that work the money will come
