One of the most innovative artists of the Arte Povera movement, Giuseppe Penone studies the complex relation between the natural world and the body. Nearly half a century before climate change became our concern, he sought to renegotiate our state of human alienation from the natural world. This presentation explores Penone‘s focus on vulnerability and the biographical symbols of his ecologies myths.
