@@TheMoeP I think a more accurate explanation is that music promoters have deliberately been de-prioritized trance music since the early 00s. I couldn't find any source explaining as to why, but my educated guess is that around that time, there were a whole bunch of music critics and music journalists who decried the genre as being deprived of soul and creativity
