if you don't break the snake egg, it will eventually hatch and soon a snake's gonna bite your heel. AI might not be a menace now for programmers jobs, but I don't think their jobs are safe in the next, say, 10 to 20 years

Asus vivobook s15 oled 2022. It is best , because it has all kind of stuff included in it like oled ,evo platform,70wthrs battery , military grade certified,etc.... If is good

I badly need your suggestion. My laptop is almost dead and i am thinking to upgrade.. 1. Mac mini M1 8gb 256gb SSD 2. Custom built pc: i7 12th gen, 36gb ram, 500ssd, no graphics card Mac mini costs me $900 and the high-end custom built pc costs me $1400 which is exactly $500 higher than M1 Mac baseline. I am completely confused to choose between these especially with tight budget. I can just go with M1 Mac mini for now without burning my wallet but I wanted a future proof machine for the next 5 years for software development. Custom built pc will be 5x faster than Mac mini M1 ($500 extra) Please suggest.

@@ProgramHubNet if I upgrade the Mac mini with 16gb RAM and 512 SSD then it comes closer to the custom built pc which is $1400. Configuration: i7 12700K 32gb DDR4 500gb SSD gen 4 No graphics card

Mac mini base model with 8GB RAM & 256GB SSD won’t be really powerful as the custom PC you are about to get and even upgrading that to 16GB and 512GB won’t fill the difference for processor performance. M1 in multicore performance will be slower than Intel Core i7 12700K. Since you are already getting a high configured machine that will be really effective for 5-6 years of use. Go with custom PC, that would suit you best.

The current job roles will change, not the requirement of programmers. Even if AI takes over the jobs of today's programmers, programmers will be required to maintain and develop the AI.
