You may not like seeing these simple “invisible” workers, but their service is very important for our safety. That's why it's important to treat them as such.

Eu nao gosto de conversar com qq um, nao sou people person, do tipo que conversa com todos, sou reservado, introspectivo. Se eu cumprimento estou fazendo apenas para evitar conflito e esse tipo de reacao que gente como voce tem. Ai no Bananil as pessoas tem essa mania de querer te forcar a ser extrovertido, aqui nos EUA eh comum as pessoas serem reservadas. Uma vez uma recepcionista de gym no BR me deu shame por eu nao ser aberto e nao sair abrindo os dentes pra ela. Mas isso vai da personalidade da pessoa, cada um faz o que quer ou o que gosta. Uma pessoa que abre os dentes pra todos vai ser sim uma pessoa mais popular e querida. Mas nao eh de forma alguma uma obrigacao. Ate as empresas ai no BR te julgam se voce nao faz o tipo dado. Aqui nos EUA eu me sinto mais a vontade de interagir na empresa pq nao tem essa obrigacao de ser dado, tem menos cobranca. Ja vou bloquear aqui pq nao compartilhamos das mesmas ideias ou experiencias. Fui

@@Akemi.24-45 Yes, I am Portuguese (Portugal). I know we share some of the idioms but not all. I was born in the U.S. but have lived in Portugal for several years. My parents are from Portugal and most of my family is still here. I haven’t heard of some of those idioms before.

90% of brazilian people are exacly like that, we are hardworking and serious when it's needed, but happines and kindness is never put aside. If you are a foreingner and ask anyone on the streets for any information, even if we're in a rush, we'll help you out, you can be a japanese, american, russian, martian, doesn't matter, we love help each other. 🥰
