When I was 9, every day for a summer, I was brutally Invoke Despaired in standard

Not sure if anyone else is ever or has said this. But Covert your thumbnails are hilarious man. The little editing of them with you in them always makes me laugh.

Yes, at Liliana Last Hope vs Emrakul, Promised End, my first thought was: that's such a flavour win, 8 years later. Then I remembered PT Eldritch Moon and Lukas Blohon winning with a Liliana Emblem against Temur Turbo Emrakul. Really glad you catched that too immediately

I've seen somewhere that a card with the text "hit your opponent with a shovel" was planned for unglued, but ended up not being released for some reason, it would've been so good in this deck.

Lukka's -4 would not have been interrupted by your removal spell. It locks in the number at activation.

Battle against the Eldrazi Titans was dope. Gisa is pretty cool!

every monoblack commander in brawl has a cool little surprise in how they can perform

I agree. Especially Gix, Alclazots, new massacre girl. Those decks I find very fun to play

I always come to the same conclusion when I play Gisa. Great value engine but 5 mana is a hefty price to pay just for the tokens to enter tapped.

I think the only thing I'd say is seeing if you can fit in a Blood Hustler, since it'd also be a threat growing as you're committing crimes and a potential crime maker itself. Ya, it's easily taken out and gets caught in clearing out the board, but it's another threat that your opponents have to consider.

Altar of dementia is probably my best performing card in my Gisa deck. People have to remove it quick. Smolder Initiate is an interesting card because it lets you commit a crime without paying mana because it’s a reflexive trigger. It targets without needing to pay 1 I guess and you only choose to pay after the trigger resolves? I had a judge confirm lol but I’m terrible explaining it lol

Oona’s blackguard is another useful add. May not commit crimes but it makes your zombie rogues scarier. Same type as scrabbling claws but Relic of progenitus
