I read about the homeward path interaction on reddit and asked a judge friend and said that it worked. But judges cab misjudge and we all know how reliable reddit is. If you are a judge respond to this comment with a solid ruling so we can all understand. Thanks fans.

CR 603.7e If an activated or triggered ability creates a delayed triggered ability, the source of that delayed triggered ability is the same as the source of that other ability. The controller of that delayed triggered ability is the player who controlled that other ability as it resolved. Due to this, the person who controls the set up trigger is the same as the person who controls the sacrifice trigger, meaning that the "sacrifice me" source is the person who controlled Gisa, not the owner of the creature with decayed. CR 701.17a To sacrifice a permanent, its controller moves it from the battlefield directly to its owner's graveyard. A player cant sacrifice something that isnt a permanent, or something thats a permanent they dont control... Since the Gisa player doesnt control the creature at the time of the sacrifice trigger, the creature doesn't get sacrificed if you need, i can link a video that explains this

@@johnevans6629 Cannot agree. Here's why: Pitiless produces treasures for tokens and non tokens alike, while the Pawn only triggers for nontoken creatures. Also treasures are way more combo friendly than the eldrazi spawns. I run them both in my Meren deck and Teysa Karlov deck and I can say... The difference is quite expressive. Cheers!

I bet a bunch of people have already written this, but Deadly Rollick specifically exiles a creature. It's easy to forget because black from what I know tends to kill things. It actually exiling a creature might bend the rules of the color pie a little, but I think that, besides it being one of the 'cheap commander' spells is what makes it so sought-after. Besides that... Interesting! I've thought about brewing more mono-colored Commander decks. I like your take on some of the commanders that exist, mono-colored or not. I don't remember if your video was the first that showed me the commander, but it definitely hyped me up more about Minn by orders of magnitude.

Im not 100% sure if the homeward path trick works. The thing is creatures have to be sacrificed by their controllers. So if you give them their creature back sacrifice trigger on the stack, when it resolves it is no longer your creature, but it is your trigger, so it MIGHT (and i could be wrong on the rules on this i admit) just give them their creature back (albeit they still have decayed) and not sacrifice them because it isnt your creature, so your trigger cannot sacrifice them. and they stick around back under their control Again....could be wrong

I was told by a judge that homeward path doesn't work for the same reason that abilities you control that say sacrifice a creature you can't choose a creature that isn't yours to sacrifice. Cauldron of souls could help you make some deals politically as well. I would still argue that the card belongs in the deck because you can make deals with what you return and kill them off again the old fashion way.

Decayed creates a trigger when you attack with it. It'll still be sacrificed even if it no longer has decayed, so i don't see why the trigger wouldn't force a sacrifice if it changes player control. I know you cannot sacrifice someone elses creatures, but they'd be forced to sac their own.

I got a Gisa in a booster and immediatly thought about making a deck for it That said, I'm aware the deck is like 50% "Destroy target creature" or "target/each player sacrifices a creature" and you are just gonna steal every single thing your players play, so, yeah I might make a deck just to play a few games, but then I'm just gonna dismantle it and add this Gisa as a 99 in another one Cuz this commander is actually *NOT* fun, it is for whoever is playing it "LMAO I just stole your Ulamog for 2 mana" but it paints a target on your back, it's very one sided and I wouldn't like to play against it myself just as I don't like to play against control decks cuz whoever is playing it wants to play Solitaire, not Magic
