I got what they were symbolizing with it but it always felt unfair to the lower girls who would never get a fair showcase compared to the girls who ranked high early. If you weren't A-B group from the start you had a massive disadvantage. This show's already more balanced. I still think it's probably rigged to some extent but it's already more enjoyable.

And oml, they threw the c trainees under the rug. There's only ONE c trainee in the final lineup. And its my queen shen xiaoting who got rank 9. And its supposed to be an "international girlgroup" There's a chinese survival show called "chuang 2021" although its from china, THEY ACTUALLY HAVE AN INTERNATIONAL GROUP. + they also have translators for their foreign trainees. I'm sure Mnet has the reasources to hire translators for their trainees, BUT NO! , let me just evil edit the C trainees. At this point i wouldn't be surprised if mnet was selling screentime :/

Mnet promised that they wil never make a show like PD101 because they were ashamed of what happened. And here they are, producing another one with the same format and concept. Playing with the feelings of the trainees. I just hope that this time, they will not hurt the trainees anymore. And that they will be accountable of what they did to the trainees and those who debuted under PD101 series.

I mean like how can someone from top 1 went down to 14? and I also heard that the producer who rigged the show is caught? I'm not sure about that but yea I hope the things that happened in PD48 and PDx101 doesn't happen here. (no hard feelings and I like your user lol)

Song wise and production wise, 'O.O.O' outdos 'Here I am" of Boy's Planet. That one was easy to forget and failed to leave a mark on me. No identity at all. It's like they just randomly picked a song and went with it.

Yes! Tbh, I felt like 'Here I Am' was just another clone of 'Nayana' from Produce 101 Season 2, from the staging to the song vibe itself. Unlike O.O.O wherein it really had a distinct vibe from the other Produce songs. And production wise, I think MNET had invested more money with GP999's Signal Song.

Video-wise, 'Here I Am' had no transitions unlike 'O.O.O'. I also hated some parts of the song because it sounded too forced with the excessive EDM, it's almost as if MNET is trying to bring back their Produce roots.

@@PariKhyatiSingh for most of the voting it was equal voting until the final voting round where you had to only choose 1 trainee. And also Korean votes were about 8-9 international votes. So they voted only for Korean trainees. So during the interim round (3 days before the final episode. It was 8 K trainees to 1 C trainee. So yeah

I've been listening to this song for 2 years in a row... soon it will be 3 years and it's hard to believe... it hurts to listen to it, knowing that Yeseo and Mashiro left the group... but you are happy for the other trainees, because many of them debuted, and the girls from Cherry Bullet they returned to their group (which, unfortunately, disbanded). many girls have passed away as trainees, some are still on different shows

 춤은 일반인들만 봐도 아이돌보다 잘 추는 사람도 많고 노래도 그렇고 실력 있는 사람들은 많지만 못 뜨는 건 대중성 있게 인기 있는 외모가 못 돼서 그런 경우가 대부분인 듯... 가끔 아이돌 프로 보면 딱 얼굴만 봐도 뜰지 안 뜰지 보임... 진짜 아이돌은 아무래도 얼굴로 먹고 사는 직업이라 어쩔 수 없는 듯...ㅠㅠ

@@Russellstiltskin_72 I heard the girl group was going to promote for 2.5 years, but I'm not sure if they'll disband after that. I mean, X1's contract was technically supposed to be 5 years. They were going to promote regularly as a group in the first 2.5 years, but they were allowed to go back to their own companies and debut again there afterwards (though they could still arrange full-group X1 comebacks or form sub-units with other X1 members for the next 2.5 years until they officially disbanded on their 5th anniversary). We all know none of that happened because of the vote manipulation scandal and X1's subsequent disbandment, but it's possible that the debuting group of gp999 could have a similar contract. Either that, or they'll disband immediately after 2.5 years like Iz*one did.

i agree a tiny bit, we should hold these big corps accountable for taking advantage of young desperate people hoping for a dream. this is exactly what they want and the type of comments that they like. its not ok to exploit people for money and views. We can enjoy and critisize at the same time.

@@fraisehime Well these girls actually exploit and take advantage of MNET show for their own spotlight being on TV. Remember every year, kpop agencies scout hundreds youngsters and train them. But those company only debut a group consisting between 4-11 girls. The remaining has to wait another 4-5 years for next chance. Non big 3 idols rarely have the opportunity to be seen in TV, if they do, it was on less popular TV shows. MNET survival shows are cruel, but the shows attract huge TV audiences. For average trainees, small appearances for 1-2 episodes in the show is better than be a nameless trainees or nameless idols from unknown agencies. For idols with exceptional talents or with great visual, it's the opportunity to build the brand. It doesn't matter if it is a temporary group or not, it's an opportunity.

all of these girls are under companies that are either a subsidiary or affiliated with mnet's parent company CJ E&M. Mnet gave all the screen time and 'good arcs' to girls who would make money for THEM during and after kepler. This is why bahiyyih gets very little promotion, she is the only member that debuted who isn't under a CJ E&M umbrella company (she participated as independent) CJ E&M isn't going to use money and resources to build up her career because not only are they not getting any returns on her but after kepler disbands she will become a competitor for post kepler groups as rival companies will be lining up to sign her and seeing as how crappy they're treating her i highly doubt she will choose to re-sign with wake one.

i literally cried while watching this performance again. Now that Girls Planet 999 has ended, watching o.o.o 99 ver feels so different. I no longer find this song as a happy song, but a sad song. all bc your favs didntt make it? the final line up its literaly compose by all the ones that were tthe best since the beggining. there were lost of other talented girls that lost for sure but not everyone can win

@@btsjin2802 nope not because of that at all. in fact, all of my picks made it. i hate mnet because thanks to them, many contestants were evil edited and weren't able to show their abilities because of the lack of screen time. it's happened before and i'm not happy with it so i'm simply not watching another survival made by mnet.
