In the UK the American Grey squirrel is an incredibly invasive scourge, so much so the native red squirrels are being driven to extinction. So I agree American squirrel are so not cute.

they are a different species and lucky mainland Europeans have not had an invasion of the US Grey kind unlike the UK where stupid Victorians imported greys which drove our Reds almost to extinction. Thankfully we are seeing some recovery in Wales thanks to the reintroduction of Pine Martens who eat Greys but can't catch the more agile and dainty Reds who escape to the tree tops. The dark varient seen last was nice to see. I could write screeds on the stupid things Victorians introduced to ornament their gardens and then escaped to wreak havoc in the wild.

Seriously? That chestnut ritual is SO 1886. If you want to be genuinely accurate, you HAVE to try slapping your broom handle on a mirror. They say if you do it three times and see a skull, you'll die of sadness and disease in the next year! But if you see the color green, you'll be with the spouse of your dreams. I'm so excited to see what I get!✨

I knew someone who was quite tall and wouldn't wear brown into Lazienki because the one time she did a squirrel ran up leg/side, over her head, and down the other. I'm not a huge fan of squirrels, but I do find them adorable (which is more than I can say for Krakowian pigeons).
