Great pun, Joel! She is a true prodigy, and I wish her the best. Such a talented person should be protected around the clock, only to preserve her potential for bringing music to everyone.

Recording engineer (her dad maybe) knows how 80’s drum reverb sound very well. And her smile after 1:45 fill, is killing!!!

Oh definitely this girl is having fun...!!! I’ve seen a lot of so-called child prodigies over the years with talent in their chosen instruments, but, this little girl is the real deal... Theres no look of concentration or what I’m going to hit next, it’s just full auto mode as she’s programmed to listen, play and master, it’s in the most natural sense, she’s truly amazing and she amazes me every time I watch her...

I believe she also puts in the hard work and repetition to make it look this effortless... but *enjoys* that practice and training. But yeah, she definitely is having fun, and her sound and sense of rhythm is amazing. [She changed how I hear this song. :) Excellent percussion and a pure take on the song.]

Actually, Yoyoka was invited to perform in Cyndi Lauper's concert in a cameo appearance a year or 2 ago. Her talent is already being recognized by several international artiste and bands.

44 year old drummer here, been playing since I was 10, and like so many others think Yoyoka is amazing. I take her 100% seriously. She's the real deal, and is developing her own sound and style already. She may be a 10 year old, but she's got the feel of a seasoned player. Rock on Yayoka!

多分ロックンロールのロールの部分だと。 10歳の女の子が刻むビートが多くの人を惹き付けるのは自然にロールしてるからだと。 教えたから身に付くって事ではなく才能とか性格とか生まれ持った能力だと感じます。

Here I am, a 73-year old guy, having fun watching this adorable and fabulously-talented little ball of energy have fun playing her drums with power, authority, and abandon. Watching Yoyoka is a great way to strt off the day.

Indeed and I am 72. I just found her videos 3 days ago and enjoy them so much...

It's magical to hear a kid listen to this music, enjoy it as a kid, and then _channel that enjoyment with the talent of a world-class adult._

I love how she just gave a big "Whoopsie! HA HA!" smile when she missed the end of a fill and kept on jammin 😀

テクニックもとんでもないけど、それ以上に信じられないレベルの「うたごころ」の掴み方。上手なお子さんがたくさん動画をあげてるけどこれはすごい。なにげにスネアのチューニングも心地よくて完璧。

超難解な曲のカヴァーは文句なしに素晴らしい！クレイジーです(念のため言うけど、称賛の言葉やけんね)。しかしながら、この、シンディに合わせて唄ったり、所々オリジナルをいれたり、なんと肩の力を抜いて(るように見えるだけなのかな)楽しそうに叩く姿よ！ポピュラーミュージックかくあるべし！

This song she covered is the perfect personification of her talent. Just seeing her beautiful little face light up and smile, as she obviously demonstrates that she's having a blast drumming, puts a huge smile on my face. I was practicing my drums before I saw this video and I went to get back to drumming some more right after... well, maybe not right after becuase I posted my comment first but it's what she does to my motivation. What can I say? LOL! I love this kid. I hope she gets a huge following world wide. She deserves it.

@@hrynkiewich I wouldn't worry too much about that... she sings as well. LOL! She's still developing and I see a wonderful future for her. I'm still wishing world fame for her. Considering how super hard working she is, I see it. Plus, she shows how humble she is... I don't see any issues with her and even if it's with a J-POP band, it's work and I hope she grows with the band to world fame. She'll be fine. Her talent is still growing exponentially and that's what leads to professionalism and accolades.

It’s good to see Yoyoka honor Cyndi Lauper, with this cover, after Cyndi Lauper honored her, in Japan, by allowing Yoyoka to perform at her concert. Hopefully, other established performers, like Cyndi Lauper, will recognize this young drum wizard in the future.

I keep coming back to watch this and it keeps getting better.. She's hopefully studying in university now and will excel in all subjects and join those who are so obviously talented. If nothing else comes of this, we can all remember Yoyoko and how she was the best drummer in ages.....

いつもよりゆとりを持って叩いている様に見えました。笑顔😄も多く、歌詞を口ずさんでいる🎶のも多かったですね。学校へ行けないストレスが少しでも軽くなりますように。それと、洋服可愛い👍🏼

I thought this was WAY to simple for her talent. The she breaks into some of those rolls, wow. Talented little girl indeed.

One of the amazing things about the "Yoyoka Effect" is that she has me listening to songs that I would never have paid attention to before I saw her playing them. I, personally, do not care for any of that angry metal stuff, but, if Yoyoka's behind the kit, I'm there!

I think she's channeling Ringo on this one. Her riff at 1.45 is jaw-dropping.

She is so talented. I had to go back a couple of times to watch how she keeps the beat on the snare as she works the tom toms.

I fucking love this kid!!!!! Impeccable timing and a sense of rhythm... Someone needs to take her into the studio with the quickness!!!

Somewhere between 1:44 and 1:47, amidst my brain tracking that blur of notes and my jaw hitting the floor, I realized that Yoyoka is 100% professional material. I've been watching her vids religiously since before The Ellen Show appearances and not once did I feel she had the level of commitment that it takes to drum ~ as a job ~ rather that she was just doing it because she was having fun, is gifted, her parents drafted her into their musical army before she could know that there was another non-musical universe out there and the world really needs a savior that's much cuter than Jesus in this dark hour of human depravity. It's like I say about The Rolling Stones - even if you don't like their music you can't question their stick-to-it-ive-ness or work ethic; they do what they do with total professional appeal and they enjoy doing it. She has everything that any of them have and, wait for it - as if you don't already know it, she's much cuter than Mick, Keef, Charlie or Ronnie (just sayin). Yoyoka is much much more than a machine or musical jukebox one winds up and it plays a song for you. She's not a ~ practiced parrot spitting out memorized notes that might as well be midi ~ she's the full deal, fo real, and this clip proves it. Also, just freakn wow.
