It's because someone wrote a comment on the second official version saying they remember that Jessica was in it but SM replaced it by the new one and their comment got thousands of likes 😂

To whoever leaked this version that time, thank you. Because of you we knew that Jessica was supposed to be in the video. She was really part of it.

GOD, seeing Jessica in an idol setting is just nostalgic and pure fucking magic bro. There is NOTHING like OT9. Jessica contributed so much to the group. I think this is one of the rare cases where we will never know what truly conspired…it makes me so sad..but GOD BLESS the person who leaked this version. Not all heroes wear capes ♥️

i love OT8 songs but listening to this and the OT8 version will always remind it just doesn’t feel COMPLETE without jessica’s voice. her angelic tone is such a a signature feature of SNSD. her and taeyeons voices complimented each other PERFECTLY

Well there's a notable difference as Jessica was basically the main vocalist along with Taeyeon . You can hear the difference in all songs after Jessica departed

Last time they were ot9. This MV isn't even official and was leaked. This is one of my favorite songs by SNSD and I'm glad there's a version of it with Jessica.

Jessica’s voice can really make their songs powerful. Too sad there is no more SNSD Sica.

Jessica belongs in CMIYC. No matter the Jessica erasure, she is undeniably one of the reasons why SNSD is the legend it is now.

Jessica being forced out of the group has a huge impact on snsd’s performances, I still support SNSD but not just the same when jessica is in it. Edit: Each member is doing great and I root for their success. Please refrain from dragging someone down and let's create a healthy environment for SONEs. 🤍

- Rheto - it was a fan that uploaded screenshots of This music video on Weibo. And SM threatened the fan to take it down. And also threatened a law suit if the video is revealed. Then suddenly the video was released by a fan.

i cant explain why but seeing them dancing in formation with all 9 members gives some feeling of completion. 8 members formation weirdly looks so much lees than 9 members formation somehow.

I'm not Jessica's stans but I think 0:38 is the special part that sounds different. The other parts of OT8 sounds similar except this part, very unique voice.

I've watched this MV so many times that I never tire of noticing how much better the OT9 lineup is for everything. If we compare the choreography, even the camera rotation was better.

It's 2023 and I still miss her and recognize SNSD as a 9-member group.

I don't even listen or watch the OT8 version after I discovered this relic.

The song sounds mmore full with her honestly.

To me this is the proof that Jessica was telling at least a part of the true. We might never know what happened but this show it was not her choice to leave the team at that time and maybe not even after Tokyo Dome. She was working in their next comeback not with plans for a hiatus. This is the last song I can hear from them without a sad feeling... really SM did all of them a disservice.

This version deserves to have more views than the OT8 version. I consider the OT9 version as the original version and it deserves to be much more recognized to respect the memory of Jess in her last moments in the band before she was betrayed and expelled by SM. Forever OT9!

Jess wanted to start her fashion company and asked SM and the girls for permission to not have a car with their schedules. At first the company and the band supported her but a month later the girls no longer wanted her in the band because she was "unpunctual" and they blackmailed the company to choose Jessica or the girls. When Jessica found out what was happening, she asked SM what was happening but this same company told her to stay calm. The next day the company expels her and Jess (very hurt and sad) vents on her Weibo account confessing the facts. Then many years passed and it is where Jessica published two novels talking about her life and where she revealed the true face of people. I recommend that you investigate and stop talking nonsense without argument.

I remember watching this when it was leaked. I'm not a SONE, but I and other K-pop fans felt confused and sad about Jessica's departure. This song really doesn't feel complete without Jessica.

I just rewatched. Anyway, they look so full here in this choreo arrangement and line distribution but when they remake without jessica it looks empty? Somethings off?somethings are not right? It looks really empty and lacking especially in choreo arrangement! She is indeed a big lost, really big, only her voice blended well in Taeyeon's voice and vice versa. 2020 rewatching and still missing this girls, miss watching them complete, miss watching the OT9.

no hate to jess, but it look full on ot9 vdeo maybe bcause they record the mv close to the member who sing each part but on ot8 they record it further than ot9, which focus more on dance and formation.. if u watch closely to jess especially on dance move that require hair flip, she do it "lazily" if that make sense.. its quite disappointing as a fans when other member do the dance move with full energy but she does it half-heartedly

@@jojo-js8mv I think this is the first recording. Fyi, when recording an mv, they will shoot a lot of times until they get the perfect result. If you watch the MV (with jessica) it has a lot of jump cuts and weird angles. I'm guessing that this is just a draft of the supposedly ot9 official mv.

@@mdnriman5794 It was said that Jessica did plan on taking a hiatus from SNSD on 2014 but only after "The Best Live at Tokyo Dome" with this as her last MV, hence why this version exists in the first place. Then it got scrapped temporarily due to the falling out on September 2014, and was reshot for its 2015 release.

Basically I think she had to choose snsd or her company. She didn’t want to give up either but that’s unfair to the rest of the girls whose sole concentration was the group. Therefore they voted and she was left out. As an adult it seems fair to me.

SM said she was retired from the team because it conflicted with her personal bussiness schedule. A korean magazine "leaked insider" information that the girls influentiated by their parents voted for kicked her out because royalties of her brand and missing schedules. There is even a description of how the two polls were and whom voted what in a korean page, it is belived this might held some true because match more or less with Jessica statement when she got notify. Other "insider" said that she was going into a long hiatus after Tokyo Dome and SM removed her because she change her mind last minute. It was her dream to perform inTokyo Dome so SM created a special goodbye show for her and at last minute she changed her mind deciding she could manage both: Girls Generation and Blanc & Eclare. SM pissed because of that kicked her out before the concert. This was from a gossip magazine that is speculated to be paid by SM to release the story trying to savage SNSD image and blame Jessica. Many fans said that according to their schedules there was no conflict among the activities, that there seemed to be some kind of hiatus or long period of time for personal schedules after Tokyo Dome so that part might be true but the rest of the information seems fishy. Laslty and the real reason I say no one knows. Jessica seems to be blocked in Korea for promoting her music a strategy SM use when an artist break his contract with them and leave the company but she was not sued as is the norm in that cases. Her contract was ended early "amicable" it was a first for SM to not pursue legal retribution for her leaving. So... Jessica was a special case wich could mean there was some true in both narratives but Jessica had enough power in the negotiation table to leave with no more damage to her than the already done. For me that sounds like the first insider was telling the truth or a version of it and no one expected Jessica to literally burn down all when she made public her leaving so dramatically even before talking with the group to understand what had happened and destroying any chance she had to leave without beings scalded herself. But as many know SNSD is a group under SM, the girls maybe did not had the power to make such claim to the company as many belive.
