Girls denied scholarship money by Pasadena City Attorney receive thousands of dollars more
A positive update to a story we first broke last week involving college bound teenage girls being denied scholarship money by the Pasadena City Attorney, after a council member tried to use his own budget funds to make it possible.

Those two girls have more emotional maturity when facing adversity than that city attorney.

Actually it’s blatant immaturity combined with greed. These two grabbers were going to pocket money the councilman had no right to divert to them. It was a secret payoff to them disguised and mislabeled as scholarships, ones that only the two grabbers even knew about and the fix was in to give it to them. The City Attorney caught what would have been a felony misappropriation of city money. A true profile in courage who did his job and what’s honest.
