Alexi is now 5 years old and sure has done everything the other kids do! It takes her a bit longer to learn some things, but she has a great attitude and tries hard when some of the other kids give up. She has a sweet soul and is currently a shining star in her kindergarten class! She is in a typical class with other kids her age who do not have disabilities. She has lots of friends and her teachers are very proud of her academic achievements! Alexi is not a burden in any way, and that includes financial. She eats food, and drinks drinks, she loves shoes, so I suppose she has been expensive in the wardrobe department, but I am fairly certain her love of clothes and boots isn't a Down Syndrome thing, I believe that comes from being a bit of a girly girl and some would even say a bit of a diva.

Why and how on earth you even make that comment, if you’ve got nothing nice to say just shut your mouth. Every person going through different things in their life, you may not be in their shoes and not knowing how does it feel, but I’m telling you what?!
