I mean yeah,it's good to give someone else a lot of attention,but too much can really annoy them bit by bit untill the guy or girl starts to get fed up with it 🤔

Actually, anybody would want space if they had a partner like Kyle. This video portrays it in a very campy way, because, well, it's Illumeably, and no one does camp like Illumeably, but trying to be with someone constantly, especially someone who you haven't been seeing long, comes off as very clingy and makes one's partner feel smothered. An emotionally healthy person placed on the receiving end of this clinginess and smothering will most likely bolt, while someone who has his or her own issues will probably do more or less what Samantha did. At this point, the psychologists sounding off will start in with attachment styles and mommy/daddy issues and how emotionally damaged people tend to attract one another and yada yada yada, all above my pay grade. But I think the messages are don't smother your partner and be honest and if you can't do those things, then get help. (Cue BetterHelp ad -- you just knew that was coming, didn't you?😁)

I had a boyfriend back in the mid to late 2010s. For almost a year it was nice, but after that, things had changed. I found him to be a bit too clingy. He would freak out if I didn’t answer his texts right away, (because I was at school, running a few errands or my phone died, he invited himself to a birthday get together I had with some friends and I felt uncomfortable talking about certain movies playing in cinemas because I wanted to go either alone or with a friend. I stayed because I didn’t want to hurt him, near the end of the year, after getting advice from others I finally decided that enough was enough. By February I sent him a break up email and thanked him for it and I wished the best for him. He did before send an apology email which was nice, I still did not want to continue so I sent it while still trying to be polite about it. I still am single but I’m okay with it.

Samantha was justified for feeling the way that she did. Every relationship needs some sort of breathing space between the partners and Kyle couldn’t even give her 2 minutes of solitude. But like she even said, she went about it the wrong way. She should’ve just been honest with him instead of lying to his face. I think they were both in the wrong to a point without meaning to be.

Part of being a respectable boyfriend is letting your girlfriend have some private time and alone time space without him. When she comes home from work, that boyfriend better let her get rested and relaxed enough to get the energy to do something. Like the boyfriend should be considerate and call the girlfriend on her lunch break at work planning ahead on a date before she comes home tired from work, so this type of thing won’t happen.
