He can teach him at a vacant parking lot. Not on some street where he can very easily fall into a river, ditch, or hit something. Ngl this dad is not very smart. My mom has common sense and is teaching me how to drive at an FIU parking lot that's always completely empty when I practice how to drive. It's pretty easy. I'm gonna teach my kids how to do it the same way. Once the kid gets the hang of it and can drive well in the parking lot then you can take it to the next level of driving on the street. This dad tried to start his son off from square 10 by telling him to make a right turn on a street which is really hard for someone learning how to drive.

@@Eralen00 You’re right but becoming a screaming, veins popping out, cussing mess won’t fix the car. And if your main concern isn’t your child’s safety after an accident when YOU wanted to teach them how to drive in the first place then your just an asshole. There is plenty of time for punishments and strong words after everyone’s out of the car in safety and the air has calmed. I’m sure the kids nerves were through the roof. Kindness in parenting does not always mean there is too much leniency. Many parents have a great balance of understanding and love and authority and discipline. I don’t know what you were getting at or why you felt the need to say this as of a father caring about his sons safety means he’s being too lenient and that the son will grow up a terrible snobby spoiled human. That’s how it works in some cases but we know nothing about this man. So don’t assume anything and don’t try to take down people applauding a dad who doesn’t scream at his son after a bad accident. Just my opinion here.
when I was a kid, I was riding my scooter to a friends house and didn't see drying asphalt. There were two workers just standing by and I guess they didn't see me coming. When my front wheel hit the wet tar, I flung forward and landed face/hands first. It was still hot and burned my hands (not bad enough to go to the hospital). I had a sandwich in a baggy that got smashed. The workers were so shocked they didn't say much of anything, just helped me up. I just walked myself and my scooter back home.
