This is a breath of fresh air! Such a beautiful love story! They are amazing together, so glad that there wasn’t this toxic, wicked stuff we see very often in these drama series. The only thing that could have made this number one, if they put a little bit more, or longer love scenes. Not, full out, but a little longer on the beautiful scenes they already shot. Just a tad bit more 🤏🏽. I loved all the relationships, between family and friends, except for FL’s mother. So glad the guy she tried to win over for 10 years got what he deserved. Pride is a killer, you always loose when you put pride first, everyone saw it, and actually told him like it was, it’s his fault and no one else. Which is rare in these dramas, everyone is at fault and never the person that did the bad deed. True friends tell you like it is, not help you plan something evil. Love that when she dropped him, she dropped him, no going back, no talking to, no swaying. Also like the fact that the prideful man, didn’t try some schem to hurt her like in all the rest of these dramas. Very well done!

I agree. This is one of the best mini dramas I'd watched so far. Good story line, good acting (including the support casts), good looking leads (very important!), great chemistry, great kissing scenes, and no evil kidnapping, poisoning etc.. Just perfect!

It was great to see her be accepted by his family and the 2nd ML’s friends telling him like it is. Also nice to see the female lead walk away from a relationship that was no good and slowly finding better in a healthy marriage.

The assistant was right. Her feelings did not "just change", it took years of rejection, negligence and taking for granted from him. He keeps humiliating her thinking she won't mind it coz she's so inlove with him. I'm so glad she found someone who truly respects and loves her ❤️😭

There is no abuse at all, no slaps, no kidnapping that I can remember, no drugging, no overtheboard evil women. It's so loving, your heart might clench and your teeth might ache from the sweetness LOL. Thoroughly enjoyable.

I often wonder if the constant abusive themes and violence in many of these types of Asian drama is truly a reflection of what often occurs today in Asian family life. One is left with the impression that a man can do anything to the woman and she must endure the treatment. Sad message for young women to embrace in 2024.

@@rafikizawadi6113 Eh, it's a "genre" if you want to call it that. It's not just a reflection only in Asia. Currently, in Western romance reading, there is a side genre called Mafia Romance, in which the female protag is kidnapped and abused by Mafia bosses too. It's even more violent in writing form because the rape and humiliation (S & M) are written in detail while the C-dramas kind of gloss over it. At least these Chinese ML are given "CEO" titles, with power similar to Mafia bosses, in some cases, but in the Mafia romance, they are really criminals, running criminal activities including human trafficking. The authors try to fit in the male protag as the son with a secret agenda to clean up the human trafficking side of the business, but you get what I mean, with the glamor facade, the same ruthlessness toward the heroine, the casual "you are my prisoner" type of attitude. So it's not just an Asian thing. If you don't believe, just go to amazon and google Mafia romance and see the hundreds topsellers.

I think the abuse and male lords with macho ideas are from the past which originated in the emperors’ era. Women were belongings of the master of the house, used for child bearing and serving them. It was the same, world wide in the past. Then the 1 child policy where baby girls were usually “gotten rid” of to produce the son. Later it caused a shortage of girls for wives. With the modernisation of China. things changed and women have now gained the equality and respect.

@@rafikizawadi6113 Indeed. It's very 1950s and 60s, actually. But it's a genre with tropes that aren't reflected in traditional dramas that you see on TV or the idol web dramas. These are episodic app dramas that count on people paying "coin" for every episode, so they must go on and on and on. LOL. I must admit, though, the elder urging of marriage is still a thing in China because they like to see their lineage continued (and this trope IS found in the popular dramas). The tradition of "being at the mercy" of the mother-in-law is also a thing in Chinese dramas because a woman marries into a family and becomes the son's woman, etc. I suspect these app dramas are a guilty pleasure (like they are to me), just as those weird MAFIA romance books are to some women (where the FL is kidnapped/sold to a Mafia Lord who is the handsome heir of CRIMINAL gangs LOLOL) and the sex is always some kind of vanilla S&M.

This is a wonderful drama! I’ve been watching quite a few of the dramas and so far, this is the best one. I sincerely hope that there are more dramas like this. The actors are superb and the storyline is marvelous! One of the best parts was the way his family utterly adored her from the start. Her brother was also wonderful. I very much enjoyed the fact that there was no abuse.

One of the best short movies I have ever seen. ❤ A lovely ans very sweet story. I liked that the FL did not even think about answering the man who rejected her because she was an adopted child although she had loved him for 10 years. After she did so much for him and he is ungrateful, she has some self-confidence left and has a clear cut. That is really admirable! Luckily, she soon meets the man who has loved HER for 10 years and wants to treat her like a treasure instead of a doormat. Lovely! If only every disregarded woman had this fate! 🤣❤🤣

追了很多部戲，只有這部我一直反覆看，看不膩，演技、顏值各方面都很到位，男女主角搭的戲，我也都追呢！

This was a refreshingly different drama plot. No violence, abuse, rape, kidnapping, drugging, bad in-laws. The only thing I had a problem with was that the subtitles were white, which made it impossible to read on white backgrounds like the clothing FL wore or the bedding. This seriously detracted from the enjoyment of knowing what was being said. I was reduced to try and figure it out by a few words I could see clearly and watching the situation of the previous or following scenes. Does anyone know how we the viewers can change the color of the subtitles/captions/text to something other than white or black? I would choose yellow. It's not a common color in Cdramas. If we can't, then can the channel owner or monitor fix this please?

The grandpa’s shock and utter disbelief finding out that the ML has a woman cracks me up every time. “It’s a woman or a man? You can actually get tired of loving someone and realize that the continuation is futile. Best movement ever to find a man who worships her.

A really sweet story about two nice, quiet people who are perfect for each other. The ML and FL actors are great as always and have really good chemistry in the story. All of the actors did a great job in this, especially the 2 ML. Also, the scene with one if his friends covering his mouth while the other was on the phone was great. The ML's family was lovely and funny. Just perfect, overall. Second time I've watched this, btw.

I absolutely loved how calm this one was. There wasn't any plotting between families, or nasty childhood sweethearts. It was one dummy who had to learn where he messed up, and even then, he didn't learn that lesson in a cruel way, and a calm normal blossoming romance. This one was great.

First time watching this drama but I loved it. Wish more dramas could be like this…I don’t like it when the FL is portrayed as being weak throughout the whole drama and endures humiliation after humiliation and then at the end is all forgiven and they end up staying together. But this one was different ML gave her the time for her to fall in love with him on her own terms. Their love was beautiful. ❤❤❤

"You never miss your water till your well runs dry and never miss you baby till she says goodbye". This is the type of drama I like when a man realizes the mistake he made, sweet revenge. Even if she had stuck around, he would have never treated her like she deserved to be treated. FL and ML were good together. The pace was slow moving and cut some scenes here and there, but it was satisfying and enjoyable. They could have shown more of the back story in place of him over showering her with gifts. On to the next.

I love that she deletes her past, regardless of if she thinks this is a marriage with an expirey date, she doenst leave anything open to be misconstrued

So happy not to see any slaps or noisy bickering in this short drama. Very comfortable to watch. The ultra bright lighting and skin whitening effect though. I wish they'd stop obsessing over that. Anyways, I freaking love how all the ladies were nice to her except that wild colleague that only appeared a short while before getting fired. Haha...also, love the friend who came to shout the truth at him for letting his chance go with FL loving him for 10 years. He caused his own demise and must now bear the pain. What a good friend! Haha...

This is the second time I’ve seen this drama and I love it every time! I adore the MLs family. I’ve seen so many dramas and its so rare that anyone actually has a solid loving family from beginning to end. Not only do they love the ML and support him, but they all love the FL for the simple fact he brought her home. The FL was not abused she was just unappreciated and not loved in return. This story paints the perfect example of what a true love relationship should be. She went from giving everything and receiving nothing in return from someone that didn’t appreciate her to being truly loved and adored by an entire family!! Such the right choice!!

The presumptuous, overconfident guy who thought the world of a woman revolves around him lost big time. The silent, patient admirer of 10 years won big time. He never looked at another woman, even his family and friends knew of her...he is finally rewarded with a beautiful love.

I have watched several short dramas with the same plot but this one is still my favorite. Shen Haonan and Wang Gege are so good together with a great and natural chemistry. They make the story of falling in love so believable. He's very handsome & charming and she's so naturally beautiful. I really like her makeup - natural/neutral colours - which only enhances her beautiful features. A drama worth watching (10/10) ❤

I don't care if this is a tired & reused storyline, shen hanoan & Wang gege are legendary! They make every drama funny, suspenseful & poignant.

I like this story. Romantic sweet & long time to love. 🥰

2 thumbs up. Nice and clean, no drugging, no turning back to being a lap dog and strength of character and dedication shows through. When he said that feeling don't just change and his friends recall how he disrespected her and disregarded, yeah I smiled. When a loyal person walks away its forever.

What I like about this actress is that her dramas are more based on witty banter, cleverness, tenderness, love, subtleties and respect than the ones of other actresses. Her dramas are thus less abusive within the usual evergreens of C-drama, where no script is used only once. I don’t pretend that she isn’t strangled by her male leads, but less. I hope it tells me, that she hasn’t not given up on her acting career and wants to progress to FL-roles where this kind of behaviour is not accepted. This is a sweet drama and very watchable. The aggression is played between the males (where it belongs). There is some passive aggressiveness by females and males, but mostly directed to men and bar hostesses (sadly). The ML can play the abusive cold hearted roles perfectly, but I like him more in subtle roles. He’s a feast for the eyes, so beautiful. But I can’t like abusive men, and I see enough examples in C-drama where this isn’t necessary, and still have a good pay check and fame. So I hope he too progresses to better roles. I think that the actor and actress are good colleagues and friends, they work well together.
