Girl offered the beggar something to eat and he refused When he recognized her, he was surprised

Today I will tell you a very interesting story that will definitely not leave you indifferent. It was a usual working day. Early in the morning, a well-dressed woman was going along the street. She saw a homeless person and stopped in front of him. The beggar stared at her. It was unexpectedly for him. It was evident that this woman got accustomed to luxury. She was wearing an expensive coat, and by her appearance one could immediately understand that she had never starved in her life.

    Every time I go home to visit my family in the UK my family ask me not to talk to the homeless or give them any money, then they just shake their heads and say, but you are going too anyway. I know what it is like to be properly hungry and homeless, and on my journey through life people have appeared from nowhere and helped me. I am not homeless or hungry any more but I can still remember how it felt to feel all alone thinking the world had abandoned me and then out of nowhere a complete stranger asks: Are you hungry? Those moments and strangers will live in my heart forever.

  • @undrielgrenger53

    @undrielgrenger53

    3 жыл бұрын

    Actually, this was not a good cop. If you listen to the beginning of the old man and the officer's interaction, the cop was rude asking the woman if the man was bothering her (like just because the man was a poor begger and just because the woman looked rich, the cop was instantly taking the side of the woman, woe be unto the begger if the woman was trashy and instantly said the man was bothering her)! Then, notice how the begger instantly assumes that the cop is there to mess with him and begs him to leave him alone, which most likely, has happened before. Good that the officer changed later on but at first, you have to admit, the officer came off like a prick.

    True, I spent 20 years in Law enforcement and was forced to Medically retire due to Early Adult Onset Cronic Asthma, COPD L4, Myasthenia Gravis and more, though I digress - I applied for disability (never expecting to need it after contributing over 28 yrs) I was denied - I lost all my retirement, home, etcetera. But even though I haven't gotten disability, The Lord has always taken care of me and as the woman said "don't thank me, thank God", and I do, Glory to our Lord and Savior. There is no fear as long as your focus is God everday. Dying to self and living not for fleshly desires but the spirt inside, the Holy Spirit. God's second commandment is "love thy neighbor as thyself", if we stepped back and lived as God commanded it would be glorious. Please, stop and take time once daily to help someone, Glory to God. ⛪

    Karma works in mysterious ways. But one thing is for sure: We do not know when it will ripen. It may fructify immediately , after several years as in the present story or even after many incarnations. What we call lucky incidents are just fruits of past good deeds done in this lifetime or previous lifetimes. I cannot confirm all this but it seems to be rationally and morally sound

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, empathy and truth. The boy thought about it and asked, "Grandfather, which wolf wins?" The old man quietly replied, "The one you feed." - author unknown No pun intended.

    No, It is not a miracle, but some people call this a synchronicity, or you may call it an example of Serendipity. Others call it Karma , but it is not a miracle, the impossible did not happen. This was a story, (most likely apocryphal), that describes a rare confluence of positive occurrences producing an unexpected, salubrious, beneficial, felicitous, outcome. This type of serendipity though rare, happens in places around the world and is common compared to the supernatural occurrence, or impossible odds, of miracles.

    I personally know what's its like to be this! I help out a young kid, at our local 7 eleven whenever I see him. My mom left her abusive husband briefly. We had nothing but, rised bread and water to eat for about a year and a half. So whenever I see this kid, I can understand the situation that he's in, no matter what circumstances he's under or accused of. A dollar or two won't hurt you, but your conscience of not helping will. Be blessed and try to love and help someone in need.

    @@mashti8877 Thanks. The sad truth about my experience with religion(s) is that the most kind and giving people I have ever met have been atheists. That is not to say that there are not kind religious people, I suspect that there are. My point is that the kindness that I personally have experienced from someone who is religious was based either on what benefit they got out of that act of kindness or they did it because they were expected to because of their religious beliefs. The atheists that I have experienced chose to be kind because they saw a need for help and provided it. Like I said, I suspect that there are kind religious people out there but I have not met one who truly did something kind for someone else just to help that person having no other motive or expectation that they should help them.

    yea here s a thing. when u really wanna focus on getting by ur day as quickly as possibly, surviving all u got n keep on moving, sometime it s hard to just stop n start dealing with a homeless person coz ur mind goes to his life n not yours n then u get distracted n off track n....all that it is not that easy for some people, even those who have been homeless themselves ;) but sure if u got so much money to share n know how to take stuff litely, do it, but yes it s about more than just being ignorant of the people it s not that i wanna be ignorant it s just...well all i said above. luckily i busy now with baby so i dont wander in city much anymore.....

    Thank you for this story. It has brought tears to my eyes because I am in that situation. I have lost everything and for years I have done nothing but struggle. Me having a phone and being able to watch your videos keep me alive. It allows me to not lose hope. In my terminally ill manner I still try to help others even when I’m too weak from hunger or health. The picture you see is the when I was happy and in great health. Even though people don’t care and I have no one I still manage to smile at least once a day. I pray for my blessing from God even though God has given me many in life. I just want a secured home a place to sleep peacefully and safe and a warm meal. But I’m afraid that is not possible. If my life was to end today at least my words can be viewed and shared. Again thank you for your inspirational videos they mean more than you could ever imagine . Your friend from Jersey

We are never given more than we can deal with, and you sound like a strong person. I pray that you will have enough. Enough of whatever you need. You will get food, shelter, health and a safe haven where you can sleep. I asked God to bless you and He has never let me down. Together we will BELIEVE that you shall receive. Take care my new friend, and know that the sun will shine again and you will conquer. God bless.

    This real life similar story happened some years ago. We knew because the man was the father of my son's schoolmate. He was working on a oil tanker ship. Near Somalia, some teenagers on board boats came near the ship, begging for food. Working as a chef for the ship, he'd throw them loaf of bread. And this has become almost routinary, daily. Years passed, the ship was overtaken by sea pirates. The chef togetherv with some crew were blindfolded. Until he felt, some hands , escourting him to stand up. He was being released he later discovered. His blindfolded taken off. And there was the teenager, forced grown up by the hardships of life. The very same teen aged boy, he would feed almost every morning. He had asked their leader for his release after explaining to him why so. Truly what goes around, come around, sometime, somehow.

    No! No! You don't do good to others because you expect it will be returned to you, or, as the Christian's say "receive God's favor." That'selfish. You do good for people because you sincerely care for them and understand their suffering. You don't hope that it's returned to you or that it "comes around." You just hope that it's passed forward by the person you helped. It's not about you and what you'll get. I think!

    @Davey Badman What are the main differences? The Bully and the Staffy are not similar in appearance and, therefore, it is relatively easy to see the difference at a glance. I have listed some of these differences below. Size and weight The size and weight of the two breeds set them apart and provide an obvious physical difference. The Bully is a substantially larger dog than the Staffy in both height and weight although both dogs are strong and muscular having a significant physical presence. Physical features Apart from size the Bully, which is in the medium sized range, has a very distinctively shaped head. It is described as long and egg shaped when viewed from above. The top of the head is almost flat between the ears and the muzzle curves downwards from the head to the nose. The eyes are small and triangular in shape and the ears are small and kept upright. The Bull Terrier has a muscular appearance with a strong jaw and a perfect scissor bite. On the other hand the Staffy is a small to medium sized dog but with a stocky, muscular frame. However this dog has a sensitive side to its nature which is much admired by owners. They have a broad skull, a wedge shaped head and a short fore-face. The cheeks are prominent and the eyes round. The ears are small. As with the bull terrier, the staffy has a strong jaw with a clean scissor bite. Training The Bully is more difficult to train and might even require specialist obedience training. A young bull terrier can be boisterous when they are happy because they love to have fun. At this stage their behaviour can become challenging and firmness will be required to avoid any bad habits. However, as mentioned before they are a loyal and affectionate breed. The Staffy is easier to train and will be more willing to listen and obey. It is always best when training a dog to choose a quiet place with minimal distractions. What are the main similarities? The similarities are mainly in the temperament of both breeds. Whilst neither would be the ideal choice for a first time owner they would both make affectionate family pets. Both breeds are good with children and both need a lot of space and plenty of exercise. Hair and coat Both the bully and the Staffy need minimal grooming. A Bully’s coat will stay shiny and smart with a weekly brush and the occasional dry shampoo. Owners should increase the brushing during the Spring and Autumn when shedding increases significantly. Staffys are a short coated breed and need more regular brushing because they shed their coat throughout the year. As with other dogs they shed more in the Spring and Autumn.
