“I told you he was real!” That line is layered 😂 Shawn and Corey’s friendship has become so iconic that it’s borderline mystical/urban legend. Even in this show’s universe the kids didn’t believe such a relationship existed lol!!

And unfortunately In this day and age of a show shows such a strong male friendship people automatically assume they are gay. It’s really sad that a bromance cannot be seen as strictly platonic now a days.

Not going to lie, this was my favorite episode of GMW. I damn near squealed when Shawn walked in.

I love how you can always tell who are real friends outside the show.

They could easily bring this show back if they wanted to. They could put it on another network like fox too since it’s owned by Disney and they can get inter deeper topics and maybe more adult topics like boy meets world did a lot. It would make a ton of sense to do so but also depends if the same cast would be willing to

I'm only here for the parents, and Shawn.

Boy Meets World was one of my favorite shows growing up (and Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Sister Sister, and many others). I really think that being a 90s kid was just amazing.. I wish I could go back and relive it at least for a day!

Lots of people change when they get older. Especially people that are very odd/weird when they are kids/teens. They often conform more to society when they grow up. Not always obviously, but a lot of them do. Also regarding Amy tbh I was re watching Boy meets world since episode 1 the last few weeks and Amy was always happy for Cory and Topanga because they loved each other. But she was never Gung ho about them getting married or loved Topanga so much she would be dying to have her as a daughter. She definitely had moments where she didn't see eye to eye with Topanga like their Christmas traditions, Topanga not moving away with her parents, Topanga asking Cory to marry her at high school graduation, and more. So this actually isn't that out of character.

The whole awfulness of this show was worth it to see everyone I love, especially in this moment! P.S. I say awfulness because it paled in comparison to the original but was still better than I anticipated!

@@HovaNirvana i've been meaning to watch both series all the way through. the second for sabrina's character if nothing else. the girl who plays riley seems to do fine, but her character is what i dislike in the new one from what i have seen.

the pseudo relationship between maya and josh was gross. he's late 17 and shes like 13 early 14. there should be no promise of one day being together
