This is the Minnesota I know and love! People not instantly going on bear hunts, but calmly discussing how to best coexist. ♡ The lesson is applicable across many lines.

They're sweet. I lived for a number of years with a female black bear and her cubs in my back yard which had a creek. Great experience. They even liked my Irish Setter. Fresh fish was their favorite.

This Is NOT Uncommon, Matter Of Fact It Happens More Often Then One Might Think.. A Few Factors To Think About .. There Was A Drought, Construction In A Animals Habitat, Or The Animal Was Foraging For Food And Got Confused Of His Surrounding .. Also Some Animals That May Have Been Born And Raised In The Area (Like People) Tend To Return Maybe To Find A Mate ... Note - Elk River Is About 35 Miles North Of The Twin Cities, And Most Still Consider The Area To Be Farm Country ...

See a bear and all some guys can think of is how they'd like to shoot and eat it. The last 50 years have been very cruel to wildlife. A couple more generations and it will all be gone. The great white hunter will have to go bowling I guess.

What happens when human population increases small towns become large cities and more land is required to build residential areas and commercial areas which drives out wildlife. Also in agriculture more people means more food so as farmland and ranches increases to provide more food for a growing population wilderness gets taken over displacing wildlife. So as more wildlife like deers, wolves, and bears have less territory they will more likely encounter people in rural and suburban areas. It's actually a tragedy which we call progress.

The tradgey is the poeple that try to feed these animals and lure them in. Stupid is what stupid does. It's all fun and games until they ruin all your stuff. Your drop food for deer and you'll get bears.

While much of this is true there are options and things we can do! Changing from harmful traditions, like eating so much meat and having so many things, and learning better skills to coexist with each other will allow more people to need less space. Loving and being considerate of each other when we can. Then being honest about when and where we cannot is definitely a good start. Before anyone tries attacking me as a Leftist I will remind all that conservatism was not ever supposed to be about not progressing nor ignoring when something causes harm. It's about not getting rid of something good just because something new and shiny came along. When something is doing harm then of course we should be finding ways to fix it. Not wasting time arguing about the best way to go about it! Don't know how people get that all mixed up tbh. ♡Be blessed neighbors. Sending my divinely inspired Love to you.

@@ivechang6720 proper conservation by harvesting these tasty little buggers definitely will help. Dry conditions and no food sources make these animals find new homes. It was a bad year being so dry. Really hurt the wildlife around here.
